Save yourself some work in the future by creating a snapshot of your VM machine as soon as you get everything set up, that way you don't have to go thru whole creation process if scammer destroys it.

Worked with VMs for years, but the tips for populating and disguising the installation are very much appreciated. I hadn't really given that a lot of thought.

I you could publish how to setup an adhoc DNS to redirect to a cloned banking website and let the rest go through; that would rock.... thanks a million for your videos and your smile (yes we can hear it even we don't see it) I wouldn't mind seeing Social engineering techniques to attract scammers to download/steal some files on our Desktops with payloads for reverse shells... but hey, making it public would help them so let's figure that out far from their eyes :)

For youtube history populating, find long playlists with funny vids or else and you don't even need to scroll. let it run in the background, or add these playlists in waiting list and once compiled, let them run and repeat when needed

I have just upgraded my computer from a crusty old bargain basement laptop to a brand new Intel 12 gen i7 nuk barebones kit.. 32 g ram and a shitload of storage.. I plan to get a v machine up and running when I figure out what to do 😃 watch out benchodes mamma toad is angry

Thank you!!! I'm a very old BobRTC scambaiter who specialized in high density, automated, trolling/torturing of SSA scammers. I kind of miss having scammers threatening to kill me. I'm also a long time subscriber and, thankfully, I just rediscovered your "How to create a simple Scambait Virtual Machine". Sadly, BobRTC is gone. So, I'll soon setup one of my 3 dusty scambaiting machines and give it another try.

I run ProxMox on a full server ( HP 380DL Gen 8 ) and have been working to tricking the VM into looking like a bare metal PC. :) Great tricks and tips Revolts!

I would pay attention to allocated RAM, if figure is not a standard's multiple, it could be suspicious for a very good scammer
