As a former dominos manager the prep begins the moment the order is placed. It goes to bake when we bump the order off the item screen it goes to bake on the tracker then after 5 and a half minutes and it automatically goes to quality check and stays there until the driver takes the order so if you ever wander why quality check takes so long. It doesn't your foods just sitting on a heat rack drying out.

CheckE cheese doesn't re use pizza. They just have a very dull pizza cutter, causing the pizza to be misshapen making it look like the slices aren't from the same pizza.

The CHuck E Cheese one is a myth. It's how they cut it, the tool they use, and the fact that the pizza is cut on a platform before they slide it onto the pizza tray or box. MatPat did a food theory video on it during the lockdowns and they were still like that even with nobody inside the restaurant. Chuck E Cheese also did a tweet showing them cutting the pizza and sliding it onto the pizza tray showing that they do end up looking janked up like you see in the pictures.
