Jess Hilarious, The Breakfast Club's newest host reveals for the 1st time how she actually secured the job, talks surprise pregnancy announcement, co-parenting, always betting on yourself, Martin Lawrence's impact & shares her only regret.

Social media star turned comedian and the newest Breakfast Club host talks about her unique and raw approach to comedy and life experiences growing up in Baltimore, attending a college preparatory high school becoming a mother at an early age, and her quick rise to fame.

Opening up for the first time publicly on how she actually landed The Breakfast Club spot, Jess shares her unconventional approach to success with Ryan, Channing and Fred so that others can learn her journey from being an internet sensation with, “Jess with The Mess” to her first real stand-up gig opening for Martin Lawernce in front of thousands to landing a seat next to DJ Envy and Charlamagne every morning on i-Heart's top daily show as she attributes her wins to betting on herself.

As a young girl Jess grew up in the heart of West Baltimore, with a loving family but was exposed to the struggles of the city. Her parents wanting more for her pushed her out of her element and made her attend a college preparatory school where she no longer was the majority but the minority. At 19 yrs old, Jess became a mother trying to juggle the tough moments being a young mom while grasping the difficulties of childbirth as a black woman. Announcing her 2nd pregnancy over a decade later and the preparations to be a mother again brings excitement and curiosity to the experience now having guidance, proper healthcare information and the ability to make a plan to enjoy this part of life and not just be in survival mode through the process.

Jess started her adolescent years working at Walmart and McDonalds, but knew she would ultimately be famous. She took a shot at standup in her city not knowing all of the rules to it, but just knew she had the talent. Opening up for hometown legends such as Martin Lawrence in front of 30,000, she knew it was her calling to be a comedian and even took the risk of going on shows such as Wild N Out and Rel making her mark in the comedy and entertainment world.

As a spot opened up on the extremely popular and highly respected show, The Breakfast Club, Jess made it her mission not just to be a contributor but to have an official seat at the table. Listen to the lengths Jess went to secure the job as she opens up to the guys for the first time on what she did to make it all happen. Through all the career highs and overcoming drama and setbacks, Jess reveals she only has one regret and emotionally shares that moment with Ryan, Channing and Fred.

Jess continues to leave her mark in the world of social media and comedy with her relatable and down-to-earth style of humor, vulnerability and wisdom. Her ability to captivate millions of fans through her life stories is what helps her to stay on top, put her priorities first to be the best mother and always keep faith it's going to work out how it's meant to be.

New episodes drop on Tuesdays at 12 p.m. ET and Fridays at 3:30 p.m ET on YouTube, with audio available on all streaming platforms including Apple, Spotify and Amazon.

I felt Jess when she talked about her experience with giving birth in the hospital. My first child I had a c section and I didn’t know how to advocate for myself so when they pushed the c section I went with it because I just wanted my baby to be okay. My second child I let them know I was having a VBAC and they tried talking me out of it but I did it! They rushed me and the lady helping me deliver kept saying I get off in 30 minutes so they forced me to push and I tore so badly I fainted the next day. Only God allowed me and my children to survive. Praying my next birth is less traumatic and exactly what I wanted 😢
