25 yrs ago I had 16' female burm with a serious dislike for people. Her enclosure had to be handbuilt because I needed that much room for her. When she would strike the plexiglass front it was absolutely nuts. People don't realize how big they can open their mouths to strike. I NEVER took her out unless I had a second pair of trained hands. Incredible animal. Not a great pet. Also the idea of keeping a snake that size in a small wooden box seems super cruel too me. But I also think that about snake tubs/racks. It's been decades since I kept pythons and boas but as a rule of thumb, if they can't stretch out there entire body length, enclosure is too small
