It’s pretty ironic that an abusive father rescued Hawks from an abusive father.
-
The saddest thing is that hawks still feels like he "betrayed" his family, even though he was 5 YEARS OLD
-
Hawks sees Endeavor the same way Deku sees All Might- a father that helped shape them into the hero they are today.
-
He had 1000 oportunities to become a a bad person and a Villain. Instead he was determined to be a Hero. He is THE BEST!!!
-
No wonder Hawks is one of the top heroes he has one of the saddest and hardest origin stories he survived such a hard childhood 💔😭.
-
Good on this series for being able to say “Your upbringing doesn’t determine who becomes a hero or a villain”. Hawks has a textbook supervillain backstory, but he’s the Number 2 Hero.
-
Hawks: i wanna help you and your family Shoto: why Hawks: your family reminds me of mind Shoto: I'm sorry Hawks: me too
-
the Hawks story made me cry and I still want to hug him and comfort him, he didn't deserve to go through this
-
It really shows us the difference in mental stability between Hawks & Dabi.
-
Hawks needs a LOT of hugs. This has to be one of the saddest backstories for a character in a superhero franchise.
-
This really says a lot about Hawks how his family was so awful. That’s why he tries to help the hero he looked up to as a small boy because he knows his family situation is just as awful. I feel like in any other work it would be like. “You were just as abusive as my father DIE!!!” But no it’s very well written.
-
Hawks backstory was so emotional.
-
Lil Hawks is up there with Eri on the Protect at all Cost tier list 😭
-
My heart is broken for little Keigo. I can't stand to see him apologize when his dad kicks him, just because his dad can't stand having his back turned. T-T <\3.
-
I remember when I first read this chapter I felt so sorry for hawks. And the saddest part about it is that there are actual kids in real life that live like this. I’m just thankful he didn’t turn out like his parents.
-
Hawks is one of the strongest characters in the series. He is always rising above his circumstances,
-
Hawks had a difficult sad hard Childhood he is one of the greatest heroes and I love that after even having a tough child hood he is still a great guy and that’s why I love him💖💖
-
The sad thing is, this also happens irl and the child had to rise above their parents to break the cycle of madness, for their own good. Gotta admire Hawks’s inner strength there👏👏
-
Man this poor kids been through so much, he had every opportunity to become a villain but he rose above it and chose to save people
