This video was filmed in 2018 and released as part of my Knit Stitch Tunisian Socks crochet hampers. The hampers mentioned and the marketplace have now been discontinued, but I thought releasing this video as a general public tutorial it would still be of use and enjoyable for those who love Tunisian crochet! You will need a 5mm Tunisian crochet hook and 1 ball of 4ply/sport/baby yarn.

The written PDF version of this pattern is available on my website www.happyberry.co.uk/

thanks for this :) going to make my wife some socks
  • Thanks so much, haven’t done any Tunisian crochet yet, but this will be my first practical project🎉I’ve learnt so much , it’s made me decide to try making with TC...excellent thanks so much..
  • Just started on my first ever sock. I got lots of yarn in sales and donated, so I am making these socks for the homeless

Nice socks! 👌 This is a fantastic well explained tutorial. So easy to follow. I can't knit socks. Tunish crocheting works better for me. And it looks like knitted socks. Nice! Really beginner friendly. Thank you for your time. 🥰

Love this pattern! I have already Tunisian crocheted and the pattern seems doable. I have always wanted to crochet socks but haven't liked the appearance. Thanks so much!

I don't have one of those hooks but now that I've seen you do this I am so anxious to try. Thank you for going so slow. It is different than crocheting. But also in my opinion easier than knitting which I cannot do well.❤
  • I did it! My very first sock! It's been a life goal for many years. My very first tunesian crochet too. Thank you for a great tutorial 😊

❤❤❤❤❤ So detailed and relaxed. I will knit 🧶 mine in a mixture of 3 different green 😀. This was the greatest vlog of all knitted socks of Utube. I’m very thank full!!!!

It’s very helpful that the yarn is different colors! It makes it easier to follow along 😄

Oh I love. I love Tunisian crochet for the look. Knitting is really hard on my hands so these might be fun to make.

oh my goodness im new to this beautiful art form and im so excited to find out i can indeed make socks for my Grandbabies I can be THAT GRANDAMA!!!!!! thank you
  • It was enjoyable watching this tutorial, the only thing is that both socks’s seams appear on the left side. And that’s a shame cause left sock would have that quite visible seam on the outer side of the foot
  • You are the only person that I was able to learn the Tunisian knit stitch with!! Especially the purl stitch!!! Very good teacher!!!
  • @bambikilla96
I like these socks. My first Tunisian crochet pair! Though I made the foot part too long, The heel is perfect :-) I don't like sewing up socks, but I'm a Knitter, of course I wouldn't :-) I did not use the whip Stitch, I used the mattress stitch which worked well, great first project!

Thank you so much for being very descriptive, I am able to follow along just by listening. I can’t see the phone at all so very helpful
