Mashup of Evil Morty Theme from season 5, For The Damaged and For The Damaged Coda
It's NOT official full theme. I just combined 3 different versions of this song in one.
Enjoy!

I really feel like the message and thoughts "Evil Morty" was trying to tell or give off was well built around the lyrics of this song. I feel like when it mentions "We're equally damaged or we are equally damaged" it feels like it captures him saying how all Morty's are suffering through this system of power and control created by all of these Rick's and now the last episode of season 5 helps capture that better by seeing how much the Ricks have done to make sure to remain the smartest in their realities by separating them all from the one's where he isn't. There's also a point in the song where it says "Say you were me then you could see the view". I feel like this is basically him saying to look from his point of view at the situation as he's one of the only Mortys that can see what's really going on. Another two points are the lyrics "Signal me when you can't breathe no more and signal if you can't say 'no more'". This part seems to capture his thoughts saying it makes since if you can't handle the horrible things a Rick puts a Morty through at times yet when the second line rolls in it feels like it's saying it makes since if you can't separate from Rick just due to having some type of connection. "Don't cross your finger Sundays will never change they keep coming" is built off of by "Evil Morty" basically trying to say that the relationship between a Rick and a Morty will never be different no matter how much you hope for it within the Central Finite Curve. "You'll be a freak and I'll keep you company" continues the thoughts "Evil Morty" would be having by basically him saying that eventually a Morty would be "evil" just like him.

I've listened to this at least once every day since I found it. Absolutely breathtaking.

This version is I think the purest version of this piece. It embodies the feeling of loss, yet being lost, at the same time, and really hits home on other subjects. One thing that is forever true, is that if your sick of something that wants to control everything for only it's own gain, you are considered evil, and that can split off in so many ways.

This is the ultimate version between all of the songs, loved it❤❤

I get chills every time I listen to this song, transitioning from the sad and broken original version to the grand sweeping orchestral rendition at the end.
-
So sad and powerful song as well
-
In the episode of Rick and Morty where this begins to play the timing is on point from the time they start the song from evil Morty beginning his speech
-
Somebody please send this vid to the guys at Rick and Morty. There gonna' love it.

Maybe again He will be alone Guess we're equally damaged Find your name Do it all the same equally Signal when you can't breathe no more Say you were me Then you could see the view You'll know we are equally damaged Don't be a fool, make it easier You'll learn to say when Signal if you can't say, "no more" Don't cross your finger Sundays will never change They keep on coming You'll be a freak And I'll keep you company...
