I really enjoyed filming this short with Mel & Josie. Having mainly focused on comedy and horror to date, it was super satisfying directing a scene with brewing tension and dynamic between characters.

Josie's roll is dialogue heavy and is delivered brilliantly, while Mel's character is subdued, passive aggressive and relies on body language and subtext to communicate her character. For an actors reel, these two ladies are silver screen ready.

Shooting on the FX3 is a joy. From ease of movement to file size, it's cinematic on screen quality, it gives me everything I need to make shorts and reels that consistently have peers asking me if I used Venice or Alexa. It truely is a little gem of a tool, and rivals the results I saw on my Red Dragon and Komodo. My FX3 is my little Buddy.
