Todo really imagined 80% of the images leading to his Black Flash, he’s the goat. “We are the exception” and “they have brought out 120% of their potential” were amazingly animated/directed scenes. And Mahito’s VA went crazy this episode.

Even having read the Manga, Yuji and Miwa's breakdowns still hit super hard. Props to all the voice actors for this episode

Todo had such an epic entrance. The man pulled up like All Might, and even managed to go Plus Ultra. The voice acting this episode was incredible!

Todos entry line is a really famous saying in Japan that basically means "All great things come to an end" but todo adds the "We are the exception!" to the end which really adds to the moment

Friendly reminder that sukunas rampage, nanami and nobaras death are roughly 15 minutes apart in Yuji's POV. The whole arc happens in one day in like 5 hours Edit: its actually 15 mins instead of 30 💀. Whole arc is 5 hrs instead of 6

Mahito's VA went OFF in this episode. He was insanely good.

Characters like Todo almost always smack the main character around when they get this low, they give em a quick slap then give them the speech equivalent of "suck it up buttercup". I really appreciate that Todo recognized that Yuuji has been through a lot. He didn't coddle him but he wasn't unnecessarily cruel about it either, he just reminded him that there's still things to fight for.
