Creepy TikToks You Should Not Watch At 3AM

Remember: Doorbells are electrical, and that wire leads to another place to set off the ringer. Any wire issue between the 2 points could cause it to act up. Most likely squirrels (due to their smaller size) or less likely a raccoon has chewed its way into the crawlspace & is chewing on the wires. A place I worked at before had this happen. The wire chewed on led to the smoke detector for that section & kept setting off the fire alarm. It took the alarm company a few times to figure out the issue. The pest control guy that came to deal with the squirrels said that they suspect the type of plastic coating on wires has a faint sweet smell, & just like antifreeze that kind of smell can draw animals to nibble in order to see if the object is actually food.

The self ringing doorbell at 5:40 can be explained by natural means. It's probably moisture that went inside the doorbell button, and is causing a connection between the contacts. Electronic doorbells usually have very high impedance on the button connection, so even a high resistance connection can cause the ting to start ringing.
