"We will show them all." Such an incredible line. The pain, the power, the memories. Just incredible.
  • "pointing fingers 'cause you'll never take the blame" hits SO DIFFERENT with Vi vs Silco trying to get the version of Jinx they want back

Honestly I think whats so great about arcane is that you can never really name one specific villain. You just end up feeling sorry and happy for everyone because that's how people actually are and you can sympathise with each character because they've all been through their own hardships and situations to get to this point:) anyone agree?
  • Bad people can do good things and good people can do bad things. The complexity behind each separate character, along with how these characters clash due to these complexities, shows how truly vague "good" and "bad" are as labels.

''He didn't make Jinx. You did.'' Heartbreaking but true...

I always thought that Gasoline related to Jinx’s complicated and tough life. I’ve loved the song Gasoline by Halsey since 2015 it still hits something
  • The worst part about the ending is that the council had already voted for peace when she fired the canon. Silco's dream could have become a reality right then and there but she unintentionally ruined it. It's exactly like how in the beginning her family would have escaped if she hadn't thrown her grenade in while trying to help.

On the last scene, Silco intended to kill Vi to make her shut up, with him grabbing the gun, but Powder instinctively shot the man who's trying to harm her sister. And now, she became Jinx, the person Silco wanted her to be, and the persona that Vi caused.
  • She is twisted and the guilt has almost eaten her up but she still somehow she kept on looking for redemption even without realising. Silco was the only one who accepted her, he was a villian but he was a ray for Jinx. He kept his promise in his own evil way that everyone else failed to do.

Jinx is my favorite character ever, i've seen all the big shows and animes and comics etc and she just blows them out of the water. These just break my heart when i watch these edits.... all she wanted to do was help and this is where it got her, and now everyone wants her to be something she either no longer is or may never be. Its a tragic tale of how a character tries to be something and ends up falling further, its very Greek tragedy as a whole. And riot pulled a masterful move that i didn't realize until a couple days after i finished episode 9.... We the audience learned to root for and love the fun crazy and wild jinx, and now shes fallen further we now have to try and put the new jinx together with the one we loved pre-shimmer and constantly argue with ourselves if shes still worth our love, if she can be saved and how much is her fault etc.... all of which is exactly what Vi has to do, try and rectify the present jinx with the version she remembers.

The glow on her eye when she says "you did" is the part i most love

the psychology of Powder/ Jinx is exactly what trauma of abandonment will do to a person. The show portrays realistic psychology aspects.

"These voices won't leave me alone"
  • @angeles1923
Oh my god the lyrics "fault in my code" with the scene "don't cry you are perfect" and the final with Silco and "hands are cold" match so much! Incredible
  • What Vi has to understand is that she is never, NEVER, getting Powder back. But if she can give Jinx the same love, that sisterly love she gave Powder, maybe things will go better between them.

She's literally my favorite character in the show because I feel for her! The people that hate her that's ok but why I like her I can see her reasoning by her actions. Yeah, what's she's doing is all messed up but don't hate her if you can't see beyond her actions! Maybe it's also because I like crazy people but if we get see how they got there that's makes it so much better!

“But he didn’t make jinx’s, you did” God this line hurts a lot💔
  • @alexjames4770
I’ve seen so many comparisons of Jinx to Harley Quinn, but the reality is Jinx is so much worse, and that’s what makes her so much better. Her trauma and tragedy is so real and believable, and in the end, she’s so far gone she chooses to kill Powder and become Jinx, and it makes sense. She comes to the dinner with the classic “who do you really want?” trope, only to shatter it and make the choice herself. Vi might have made Jinx, but Powder chose to be her. A story this nuanced not only about mental illness/trauma, but about feminine tropes, relationships between characters and true agency is so rare. It’s honestly a shame so many people will never see it bc it’s associated with League.
