Super excited to be working with HoYoverse again and creating a song for Arlecchinno! When they approached me we discussed looking at this character through a fairytale lense and little red riding hood just felt right! Except in this universe little red is the bad guy, luring in the young wolves 😈 (this storline is for this Arlecchino song only and has nothing to do with the games original storyline)

Arlecchino is truly one of the coolest female-characters and villains of Genshin Impact ever.

I love how Genshin pays creators to actually make cool stuff instead of attacking them for doing so. This song is so creepy but so creative I love it :)

Little Red Riding Hood being used as an allegory for abuse and generational trauma itches my brain in a way I didn't know I needed, especially the role swap where Red is the abuser and the wolf is the victim and in the end the wolf gains the red hood as it takes Red's place. The imagery and story is amazing.

I like how at the end she is both wolf and red, it's intresting, showing how she suffered the abuse, and is now in the position of the abuser, but is still ultimately the wolf as well. Doing better having been both.
