The modern tank was born at the time of the First World War. The British used the rolling steel combat vehicles for the first time against German troops. Then the Germans develop the “A7V” - and in the Second World War “Panther” and “Tiger”. Ferdinand Porsche was also involved with the “Maus” in the construction of tanks during National Socialism. The documentation gives a chronological insight into the production and technology of German tanks, up to the latest models of the Bundeswehr.

Beer is so important to Germans that they won't even let a drop spill even resting on the end of a 120 mm gun barrel racing through the woods.

My goodness, this has to be one of the best documentaries on German armour I have seen. It really is great to see it from the actual owner's point of view. Thank you to the crew for having someone who knew his Leopards so well. Again, my sincere thanks on such a nicely made documentary.

Amazing video. I am a US Army Veteran and a Paratrooper and I was able to earn my German Jump wings in 1992. I have a lot of respect for our German brothers!

  • Random German company:Builds a tank 19 COUNTRIES:WE WILL BUY YOUR ENTIRE STOCK
  • When in West Germany I had a chance to go on a Exercise with the German Army , 1980 to 1983 , and all of the soldiers were skilled and great to work with . My Landlord in Bitburg had a son in the Army and he and his family were awesome to be around .

The other "complete" documentary is really just padded with strategy and use. This is the best video I've seen so far that focuses more on specs and capabilities with just the requisite amount of coverage on strategic use.
  • Here in Germany you normally get your first Leopard Panzer by the age of 18 when you finishd school.
