  • Do NOT apologize for going over 10 minutes! You explained the basics of geometry perfectly!! I have been searching for something exactly like your video: a general overview with some easy-to-understand detail. I am looking forward to learning much more from you. Thank you, thank you!!

I love geometry. I'm just terrible at math in general. I have dyscalculia. Which is, put simply. The math version of dyslexia. Coming back to math with an earnest want to better myself. I'm so glad that videos like this exist. Thanks for taking your time to make this. I really do appreciate your efforts to help us!

Man. I passed Geometry class with a C- almost 19 years ago and never did anything that could be generously considered "geometry". For whatever reason memories of that class and how much I hated it came back recently so I decided to confront the past and watch some videos on the subject. And Holy Hell I still cannot find a single thing to enjoy about that subject! It's Algebra all over again, but with even fewer hypothetical applications and even more letters/notations. Doesn't help that I had the most notoriously horrible teacher in the whole school teaching that class (I hope you're reading this, Mrs. May). I appreciate your effort put into this video, but man: all those triangles bring back some horrific memories...

74 here. I wish someone would have outlined and linked Alg1, Geom1, and Alg2 when I was a lad. Passed them all, but each progression went from high to lower achivement level and had to quit. I think instruction has improved or my mind has evolved for understanding but memory for retention is now weak. Your instructions are good exercise for me. Thank you!
  • I can provide you with some general information on geometry and its concepts. Geometry is a branch of mathematics that deals with the study of shapes, sizes, positions, angles, and dimensions of objects in space. It is divided into two main categories, which are plane geometry and solid geometry. Plane geometry studies two-dimensional shapes, such as points, lines, angles, triangles, quadrilaterals, circles, and polygons. It involves the use of properties and theorems to determine relationships between various objects, such as the Pythagorean theorem, which relates the sides of a right triangle. Solid geometry studies three-dimensional objects, such as cubes, spheres, cones, cylinders, and prisms. It involves the use of formulas and theorems to determine measurements, such as the volume and surface area of various objects. Geometry has applications in many fields, including architecture, engineering, physics, and computer graphics. It is also used in everyday life, such as in designing furniture, creating artwork, and mapping out the layout of a room. So, these are some general ideas about geometry.

Life saver. In the middle of the school year and I’ve been asleep the entire year for geometry. Proximity learning sucks
  • Thank you for creating the lessons on YouTube to help any learner world wide.
  • @86qscott
Thank you so much for this. It is an excellent refresher for me.
  • I am an upcoming freshmen and i am starting geometry soon so this would definitely help me
  • I would definitely like to take your geometry course after I have completed your Algebra 2 course.
  • @SallyChickadee
Thank you so, so much!! This is exactly the video I was wanting -- an overview of geometry. I'm working on finishing my education and going towards GED, and I never properly tackled geometry and I was so confused about it, but this video has helped me so much. I feel like I'm ready to get into it and I'm definitely interested in your classes :D <3
  • @rosalia2425
Thank you so much! this helps a lot with my test coming up!
  • @saminakk2138
Can you put a video on ged tax discount tip commission with 2 percent questions
  • @voxval
thank you so much, this will help me very much in highschool :D
  • @natalieg.2000
This is better then hearing my teacher for 1 whole hour.
