I have been a huge fan of Tom Hanks, and his wife, Rita Wilson, for more years than I want to count. He deserves even more acclaim and recognition than he gets. He is truly a man of the people. On a different note but in the same vein, I wish his son's series, Life in Pieces, was still on - great cast, great writing. Tom is a genius that should get the life-time acting award!

The fact that he went with the young Forrest Gump’s voice qualities is a testament to his kindness and professionalism. He know the boy was not a professional actor, so he felt it would be easier for him (Tom) to mimic the boy rather than the other way around.

I am very ill and in pain unless I'm asleep. For the duration of this video I was almost completely unaware of the pain because I was laughing and crying at the time . There are things in life that do this to most everyone at some point . I just wish there were more of them I guess I could have summed it up and typed laughter is the best medicine.
