HESH damage is strange right now. Very unreliable against bigger tanks like panthers, tg2's. I would expect 21kg of tnt to do more damage. Anyway I wish you guys a nice weekend 💪
  • @yoshineitor
The fact that THIS amount of HE basically rips turrets of tanks IRL yet in War Thunder it barely damages the gun breach......
  • @FernesEcho
Fun fact: the FV4005 is nicknamed "Kinderwerfer" in German. Which means Children-thrower or Children-launcher.
  • @Rorywizz
I love how consistently inconsistent Gaijin made mid tier British shells
  • @MrSv7dzg
It's 5 and a half AM and I can't sleep, I am sitting on the balcony waiting for the sun to come up seeing it and counting it centimeter by centimeter. This is exactly what I need. Some 🅱️ESH
  • @boas7742
In real life when the fv4005 was tested against a conqueror the shell cracked the conquerors mantlet completely in half
  • @thatchris1626
I can’t understand the logic behind hesh. Previously as much as tigers were hard to one shot, you would at least kill the gun. But that happens no longer for some reason
  • @JaCKal_646f67
gaijin showing hatred to the HE type tank rounds is just hilarious that they hated the realism 😂😂💀💀
  • @pennycarvalho1223
The fv4005 shell is so heavy, that the impact force of the shell was equivalent of 21kg of tnt, just the shell hitting the armor. Now add that to the 24kg explosion.

i love how enthusiastic Dollar gets when he sees people using his decal :D
  • @CurseOfZeSnail
Any vid that Dollar does with a large amount of explosives always ends up being fantastic. Torpedo man, Fritz X space bombing, deleting ships from 29 miles away, and of course I can't leave out Rocket man.

Just a thought: Against vehicles of certain threshold, HESH should calculate both HE-like and HESH-like outcomes and realize more damaging event. Because it's really getting ridiculous.

The historical issue with the FV 4005 Stage ONE version is that the gun was FULLY fixed. It wasn't so much an autoloader as it was easy access drum for the ammo. A loader operated tray to not necessitate lugging the ammo to the breech. It's like looking at a streamlined packaging system but instead of heavy packages getting wrapped in cellophane, they get shoved in the breech of a gun and same day delivered down range; where it's the holiday rush and the letter attached is To Whom It May Concern. Built purely as a test for the question "How will repeated firing of this gun damage the tank?" Where much like any tank getting upgraded, Britian really liked the idea where stop gap solutions could be reversed, hauls unmodified and original turrets remounted. That's why you get stuff like the this, Conway, Challenger, and many others. This all being said I could still place holder from the Stage II being used. See the kind of animation borrowing other code already in the game. Wish there was more autonomy with the loader, so they don't appear as stiff. Give life to open tops or module XRAY mode in game. TLDR: Stage One had zero traverse or elevation. Was not autoloader, was easy access racks. Still can see jank way to make work.

Gaijin's logic is amazing with this thing (not really) A vehicle meant to (and could) knock out IS-3s and 4s can't knock out a PANTHER
  • @sovietpotato9379
lovely video! just a shame they have screwed up HESH this bad, although, if you want to experience the glory of HESH, i strongly suggest the lancia 3ro, its a truck with a 100mm mountain gun that has 75mms of pen with HESH, super fun when it doesnt hit the tracks or something since most enemies are so light they're hull broken and if its heavy - like a sherman - the HESH deals with it like a hot knife through butter
  • @nisoro.
The British felt they needed their own version of KV-2. Turret from the side made me think of a big brain wojak.
  • @kevwar99
15:50 in all of my years of playing this game, I have NEVER seen a turret fly that high
  • @Patches-vq8cd
Ahhhh the british experience. 100% totally fair and fun
  • @cannonfodder4376
10:16 That clutch teammate and raised tensions. 11:07 And then the monitor smash edit. 😂 Most wonderful video to watch before bed after a long day of work. Good stuff DOLLAR
  • @guilhoerme159
Man you just do the best editing i've seen, there's nothing like it. Keep up the great content!
