I just got COVID last week and I completely lost my taste and smell I’m so sad

My sense of taste and smell is just dulled a bit. I can still taste and smell things. Oranges are still very potent.

I just caught covid in hospital while I had been admitted for something else, and my taste buds are all over the place. I can’t taste sweet things. They just taste metallic or not sweet at all. I had an ice block (popsicle) the other day but it didn’t taste sweet. I also have some problems with savoury items. Not all, just some. Eating has become a chore. I just eat because I have to.

I can't smell what used to be a strong scent of jasmine. Now there is not smell for jasmine, citrus, cider, coffee... and a lot more. 😢

A superb surgeon who just did a sinus surgery on me, along with 2 root canal removals and wisdom teeth cavitation surgery to clean them out, all because of debilitating, chronic health issues I’ve had for years, told me to do Eucalyptis steam inhalation. I will be doing this every day along with smelling other essential oils and hope to God I get it back soon. I’ve been without smell and taste for 3 F’n years and this is getting REAL old and so very frustrating!! 😣😭🤬

Sense of taste and smell isn’t the same works on off since Covid snd covid n Covid shots 2021. Sometimes I n can’t taste anything, smells tastes changed and are intolerable too.

There are women that became pregnant of having cov-19; they had lost their taste & smell. Then they came back things didn't taste or smell the same. The name given is Parosmi a. I'd this safe for pregnant women?

I did the orange thing and ended up eating it as meals because I couldn’t eat anything eles because I’m full of orange. But it’s only temporary. And the video is useless without telling what spices and ingredients to train

I’m so self conscious that I will smell bad even though I have good hygiene. All I smell is bleach but no one used any. I’m so sad that I can’t smell my baby and my mouth tastes like soap
