I came back to this video due to it being in one of my old playlist, and I couldn't feel both more proud of M2king at this time, and sad that he now doesn't play this game at a competitive level anymore. He was one of the God's while I grew up, and was always my favorite when he played in tournaments.

You did an amazing job at taking Mew2King's calculated playstyle and turning it into something gorgeous with fantastic editing and a great song choice! This needs more recognition. This is incredible work!

Shout out to Ken for starting the Marth meta game and creating the Ken combo. Probably the most iconic combo in the game .

This video's a couple years old, but I still come back to it constantly. Mew2king's marth, and this beautifully made showcase of it, is why I got into melee, and any time I need motivation to play I come back here and watch this again. Thanks so much GRsmash for making this, for introducing me to melee, and for everything you've done to publicize the scene in general.

Awesome combo video. I like the music choice. Makes you think about how elegant Marth's movements are.

in my opinion, mew2king had the strongest mixup game of anyone to ever play this game. We will NEVER see someone with such thorough game knowledge again. Sure we have players like Llod in the modern era who do have a similar nuanced understanding of micro situations, but m2k's intuition coupled with his extensive game knowledge created a mind that was so adept that he could use it to feel out and play to an advantage in literally any situation you threw at him. This quote from westballz puts it best; "he knows situations that pretty much no one else knows, and it's hard to deal with when you can solve these equations - then you play mew2king, and he gives you these equations you can't solve because he already has 4 different answers for it"

I honestly believe if mew2king would solo main marth and refine his neutral and punishes a tiny bit he would be the best in the world
