The abuse excuse, the woman will always get off lightly. She was the abuser and should have been found guilty not of 2nd Degree Murder as charged but 1st Degree Murder.

She hasn't shown no emotion to the verdict.If she was innocent we would have seen some real tears imo! In the other hand, i think both Doug and Ashley were the victim of their choices. 30 years age difference was the main problem in their marriage. Was she guilty? YES Do i feel sad for her? YES If there were 12 jurors the outcome would have been different imo. On the end of the day i believe the justice has been served.

Too much reasonable doubt to convict, IMO. Compromise verdict.
