I Tried Minecraft's Newest Clone (& It Surprised Me)

Fun fact there are 2 creator that are trying to completely replicate Minecraft in roblox right now without making it feel like a clunky ripoff

That boss you fought in the underworld has a chance of dropping a chest, this chest is like an end chest that only you can see. So no one can steal your loot.

The lighting issue is not an indicator of iron ore, but rather just a result of how Roblox lighting interacts with the voxel system. To help optimize the game, voxel based games don't render blocks that are behind other blocks. More than likely the developers made it so that the blocks covered by the block broken are placed right as the block is broken. This means that there is very little space between the edges of each block when inset which leads to light leaking through. Same thing can happen with shader packs in Minecraft when lighting isn't implemented correctly. There is unfortunately no way to really fix this without coming up with some hacky way since there is no way to create custom lighting in Roblox, otherwise games on the platform would be a lot more polished looking. I like how voxels updates more often and is more open to just adding stuff that’s just fun. Like this game has new food like pizza, burgers and pasta. It has new mobs. And it has a lot of new structures.

this game is just insane but the sad thing is that it has been banned as of right now, thanks to roblox, and probably mojang too, I dunno, also there is something funny you can do, and it requires you to simply stand over the bomb and let it explode, its no troll trust

Me and my friends actually have a server and its pretty fun, the mining is ok (the absence of caves makes it really hard) me and my friends have just been building stuff.

hytale is not a clone of minecraft, it is a game inspired by minecraft but apart from being a sandbox the only thing they have in common is that they are voxel games, do not confuse them, they are quite different.

It's simplistic, but cool, especially for a roblox project. It has it's style and it looks great

Yeah that's probably the closest thing to minecraft, but who would you choose this over the original game?

Its not like the other clones, theyre just a copy of old bedrock edition with a resource pack, but this is a port of minecraft into roblox, which means they put a lot of effort into this: drawing the textures, making the movement code in lua. You cant compare it to the free mobile clones.
