Welcome to another cozy writing vlog! In this one, I'm working on draft 6 of my fantasy novel, project tea cup. It is ALMOST DONE! Omg. We're so, so close now. I'm really excited to be almost at the stage where I can submit this to my literary agent. Again, I have no idea if this is the final draft before we send to publishers, but we shall see!

Take care everyone and I hope you enjoy the video! πŸ’›

  • Thank you so much for being here everyone!! I'm very much in no-life mode on draft #6 now and I'm almost done with it and I feel like my brain is just about turned to mush. Take care and have a lovely Sunday :-) πŸ’›
  • the immediate, "I'm in Australia, it's autumn here" explanation to prevent the onslaught of your usual weather related comments had me giggling πŸ˜‚
  • @ReadingNymph
The autumn content is gorgeous, so relatable with stressing to find an owner for a lost pet
  • @nileops
If you ever find a lost dog and you think they have a microchip, any local vet or animal shelter should have a reader that can find the owner! Of course that means actually getting the dog there (easier said than done). I'm generally a lurker but I've been following this series for a few years now and just wanted to say that I find you so inspiring and these videos deeply comforting. Thank you for doing what you're doing and sharing it and always for your candor. I look forward to the day project teacup is out in the world so I can finally read it :)
  • @everausten
It's so nice having followed the channel for a few years now, to get to enjoy the cycles of your calendar. The yearly birthday week blog, the yearly trip to Sterling - it's so lovely to have these little recurring gems to look forward to ✨ "It doesn't mean that it's going badly, it just means that I care a lot" πŸ’›
  • Autumn is my favorite season. Much as I like spring, it was refreshing to see autumn colors.
  • @amouramarie
I didn't know that Australia had few deciduous trees! And that is a beautiful street! I live in a place where there are tons of native deciduous trees, but it's still a pleasure every year to watch the colors bloom all over the neighbourhood. Never gets old. :)

I'm on 5th draft of my fantasy novel and this is like rollercoaster' ride: there are days when I'm really proud of what I've written and days when I have imposter syndrom just like you. But my project hasn't been seen by beta readers yet.
  • It's always a good day when Christy uploads. Good luck with draft 6. Keep up the good work!
  • @clarejean3309
you work so hard and we love it. Also thank you for helping the dog, i wished people would do this more! it hurts to know there are dogs out there lost. But love this vlog.
  • Well done on the chapter surgery! Imposter syndrome is so normal and actually very healthy I think - being passionately invested in the work but in a very self-aware way, making sure that you never get complacent. Bug hitched a ride from Sterling, I reckon! πŸ’š
  • Lovely video, Christy and I feel you! We don't experience autumn where I live so if I ever go somewhere that does (and it's the season) or whenever I see it in videos, movies, or books it feels like I am seeing (or reading) something magical happening! πŸπŸ‚πŸ§‘

I loved this vlog Christy! Congrats on all your effort with Project Teacup ❀ can't wait to read it!

Hello Christy Ann, Keep up the astounding work that you do in writing your fantasy novels. You are one hell of a writer never forget that
  • @Mslaralinda
I will make sure that when your book comes out I rate it with the according paw score for putting those fingers to bad use. So funny…
  • @Event_Horizon14
I think all of us literary souls love autumn and the rustle of leaves beneath our feet πŸ’› Lovely video Christy! I wonder if you wouldn't mind sharing your playlist for when you write - I'd love to check it out!
  • It blows my mind that it's Fall for you now, but Spring for us. Lol Being in New Hampshire, we're used to bright Fall colors, I still love it though. :)
  • @user-iy4nd8ge2r
