The FUTURE of Metal Gear Series after METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER News

Metal Gear Solid 4 on modern system sounds like a freaking dream. Hope they would do that.

I’m honestly really interested to see if they’ll remake the MSX original because to do so they would essentially be making a new game.

If they do these remakes to introduce new people to the franchise, then I think it's crucial to remake them in chronological order, to not confuse anyone. Otherwise new people might be scared off if they release them out of order. I previously thought that Ground Zeroes / The Phantom Pain and Rising: Revengeance don't need remakes, but now I think that they too should get remakes, here is why: First off, Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain should just be combined into one game, and secondly, all the unfinished cutscenes should get added to complete the game like it was originally intended. I already love Rising: Revengeance, so just bringing it into Unreal Engine 5 would be enough for me. The remake could potentially be called Metal Gear Solid Rising: Revengeance, like it was originally announced.

Hopefully it does well so we have more adventures with Snake

If Konami wanted to be bold, they would make a remake of the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. I've never played them, but I'd love to experience them with modern graphics and controls.

MGS4 needs to be on volume 2, I repurchased the PS3 just for that game.

I'm hoping you're right that this is just the start and they're going to eventually move to a possible MGS 1 remake. I guess it just depends on how well this game sells.

I think they should remake the MGS games in chronological order, starting with the days of Naked Snake / Big Boss up to the days with Solid Snake / Old Snake. 😊

This whole set of information really feels like they are putting MGS as a priority right now when it comes to IPs, bringing this series to the newer generations is precisely what the series needed. Not only that, but we could actually see a whole new MGS down the road.

I can’t wait to see how this plays and see if they sync the voice acting well since they will not be doing any recording.

I think volume 2 will be a smaller collection consisting of just the handheld games from the psp, maybe throw in ghost babel as well. I think this because mgs4 finally being available on other platforms besides the ps3 is too big of deal to just be thrown into a collection. Konami would most definitely try to sell it on its own at the 40 dollar price, maybe more.

It would be cool to have an MGS prequel story about the The Boss before MGS3 happens 😄
