  • I think everyone skipped a couple heartbeats when Josh started singing. He compliments Tyler's voice so well. So proud of the boys.
  • @tonyoguzman
Josh singing has officially elevated twenty one pilots to a tier only few bands will ever reach, i hope the next album involves both of them doing whatever perfection this was
  • No matter how bad things get, I was on this planet the same time as Twenty One Pilots.
  • @chechantal
Josh singing with Tyler just sent me to a blissful place I haven’t seen in far too long. This story arc just elevated the plot tenfold.
  • If anyone ever thought Josh was only the drummer, this is your chance to reconsider. This video is cold hard proof that Josh contributes a full 50% of what's happening on the stage. Even I assumed Josh wasn't as acclimated with some of the technical stuff, but Josh was singing and programming beats and playing piano keys and multitasking like crazy, which is hard af. Of all the people on the planet, it's crazy how fate landed Josh next to Tyler. These guys are so 100% in sync. Their gazes keep locking in to ensure the operation's moving smoothly, and it looks like they're so deep in concentration and focus. This is taking music-making to the next level. Tyler's a genius, but Josh has done more than enough to prove he's not just a drummer. Fantastic. This is talent we usually don't see from mainstream bands. Anyways, these guys didn't get "lucky", and they're not famous for being famous -- they got to where they are with raw unrivaled skill, and probably thousands of hours of practice and racking their brains coming up with ways to distinguish themselves. There are no words

Josh is not only singing but playing the keyboard as well, without any hesitation. I am so proud of him!! It sounds so good!!
  • @Bobopotamus
So, I'm a 66 year old grandfather and have experienced over 50 years of music in almost every genre there is, and I must say, this was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen! As Tyler said, they always perform with recorded back tracks, then add the finishing touches live. But here they created something from the ground up, on the spot, as we watched and enjoyed. They have become so much more over the years since there humble beginnings. Well done boys! Oh, and Josh my friend, you are no longer just "The Drummer"! Thanks for letting us all experience twenty one pilots.

(4:04) In this part I just cried. How they look at each other, the delivery of their vocals, how they complement each others voices so well, I can feel the bond between them. I can hear the melancholy in their voices. Eveything and everyone even time itself stops for a moment, just leaving Tyler and Josh with that calm and nostalgic synth in the background. Just beautiful. At this part of the song this is no longer Stressed Out, this is friendship, empathy, and most of all, one the most unbelievebly human feelings I've ever felt. This is an experience. This is twenty øne piløts.

I never in a million years would think that Car Radio would work as a rock song, but it was so freaking good. More rock on the next album please!
  • @SlowtownDog
I'm blown away by their artistry. Absolutely floored. Such an incredible performance from the both of them. Thank you for the fun surprises and beautiful music!
  • they’re the only band that makes me emotional like this. their creativity is unmatched. shy away was insane. car radio was something i never thought i needed until i heard it
  • @densrier
I almost started crying when Josh started singing with Tyler; their voices sound good together 🥺
  • Their talents were truly shown here, just the two of them creating the most beautiful and unique remixes I’ve ever heard. Not to mention Josh’s vocals, he really compliments Tyler so well. I hope this performance gave him the confidence we already knew he had since I know he doesn’t like to sing much but his vocals are really beautiful, I hope we hear more in their next album.
  • @2588ryand
Obvious fan of the classic MTV Unplugged’s, but this is sheer musical multitasking brilliance. The amount of practice required to get this so slick is to be commended 👏🏻
  • From watching this I get a feeling that their next album is going to be their best yet. Their artistry is just beyond, they know exactly what they’re doing and hope they show this more in the studio versions.
  • @aliatbest
this band's creativity is unmatched. every single time i think to myself, "how will they ever top this?" they continue to do just that, over and over again. it's an honor being their fan.
  • @dvnhzq
when i started to listen and support this band, Josh would always be the last person you'd expect to see on the mic let alone sing. 6 years later and things have changed. so proud of Jishwa
