  • So basicaly; this guy also made a Barret before they where even a thing.
  • I met him when I was a kid back in 1986 I'm glad I met a legend.
  • @soupp
mans was literally willing to spare the 12 year old kid transporting guns. mad respect
  • @The_Mad_Regent
A guy using a .50 caliber machine gun as a sniper rifle is one of the most American things ever.
  • I remember watching an interview he did years ago. He said he never took pleasure in killing his targets. But the only time he ever did, was when he killed the Apache Woman
  • "Yo I need a Barrett .50 cal" "We don't have Barrett .50 cal its the 60's" "Fine I'll make one myself."
  • @T-roccBABY
Sniping with a machine gun? And here I thought that was just battlefield 3 magic.
  • @nessygl
Vietnamese soldier: HEY GUYS Wasn’t there a lump of grass over there?
  • The solo mission to take out a VC general is one of the most badass things anyone has ever done. I saw an interview of him describing VC soldiers patrolling so close he could have spit on them and never knew he was there. Legend.
  • @gotbellers
This guy deserves at least 2 Medals of Honor and a purple heart
  • My father has the same model of rifle he used. The thing is deadly accurate.
  • @dustysteidl2581
Wish they would make a full movie about him, one of the greatest snipers to ever walk the earth.
  • Carlos fishing in his retirement. Young boy approaches. “You carlos? You knew my father ‘the cobra’”

Carlos Hathcock aka 'White Feather' would eventually be credited with an official confirmed total of 93 sniper kills. But the true total was probably several hundreds more as the system for acknowledging confirmed kills was stringent in the extreme, as it required an officer and a spotter to be present when the kill was made. Notable kills: "Cobra" A sniper duel where Carlos shot through Cobra's scope and killed the sniper "Apache" who had a reputation for torturing captive U.S. Marines A NVA General at close range with out a spotter Killing a Vietcong Guerilla with a M2 .50 Cal Browning at a range of 2,500 yd, setting the record for the longest sniper kill at the time
  • @slyngn7847
White Death: "What's your kill count?" White Feather: "93" White Death: "A respectable number."
  • @tsipher
RIP Brother, you have earned your rest among those warriors after this life.
  • @Echoe2
I remember reading a book called “One Shot One Kill” which is a book about snipers like “White Feather” and many other expert snipers.
