We used the Diamond T's before we got the Antar's for pulling the tanks, I can remember being a tank driver sitting next to the Diamond T driver and holding the low box gear lever back to , stop it from jumping out as we went up hills, scary stuff for a young lad.

Whatever you do don't scrap your weld jig when you've finished. You never know when you'll need it again!!

Back in the 50's my grandpa had a Diamond T . He made a few Bob recovering wrecks on the A5 in Staffordshire and my grandma used to drive if he was unfortunately detained in the Bricklayers Arms.

Your farm is looking more and more like a Ukrainian Steptoe and Sons MT Park. Full of a salvaged mish-mash of vehicles from all eras and nations. Heavy metal heaven.

In any 60s electrical kit, there's every possibility that any capacitors are shorted out; the waxy paper that separates the foil plates has a tendency to dry and crack. Still, give it a try; keep a fire extinguisher handy!

I see Jack’s been on a supervisory management course then…. 😂😂

Road wheel studs shearing was quite common. I cant remember the exact procedure, for for replacing them, but it was a normal tank park job using the tanks tools.

You boys are my new fav YouTube channel by far ! Keep it up

Nice to see Crouch's still going, AFAIK they are the only heavy vehicle movers in the UK. Big kit, big engines, lovely.

This was a fun episode! Thanks for it. One suggestion on the Diamond T truck- get rid of the corrugated exhaust pipe, and put in some nice Walker or AP solid steel exhaust tubing. The stuff used on school buses in North America is cheap but good. The corrugated stuff leaks and rots fast. Can't really clamp it securely either. Just my $0.02 worth.

If I was still in England I would of came and gave you a hand as I was other end of the 69. But unfortunately I'm now over the water. I'd of came just for the banter and ribbing 😂.

Just found this channel today, Guess I'll be binge watching it for a while :D

I hope you're on Mr Crouch's christmas card list, you've got Sebs engine bay looking peachy

Can’t help but notice the absence of Whistlin Diesel tank. Finally, got that shipped off! Now look at all the room for activities!
