pass this inspirational performance on, we need this now more than ever!!
Welcome! These musical clips are from a large video collection that is now being converted from VHS/Beta to digital. There is some viewing quality loss from the original video source due to the age of the tapes, but the performances are preserved and still a joy to view. I'm finding many lost performances from vintage R&B, Soul, Pop, Broadway, Cabaret and other performances. This channel will be the Ed Sullivan channel for the digital generation, something for everyone to enjoy. Many of the performances will be seen for the first time since they were originally televised. I will be adding many musical performances from a variety of sources that I hope you will enjoy. Please hit the like button if you can.

Joan was blessed that her own career outlasted Carson’s and so her legacy was secured. She died with several generations of fans who, like me, will miss her for the rest of their lives.

I miss her so much it hurts....she went thru so much needless pain and sadness in her life and I can remember her going thru it as it happened...RIP Joan and Edgar!!
-
This woman was truly sincere and Carson screwed her. I remember when it all happened and as much as I love Carson but he wasn’t a nice man and Joan always gave him credit for her career! Show business is a cut throat business but in the end, People will always remember Joan over Carson. She was multifaceted and remained relevant until her untimely death in 2014. RIP Joan, you’ll always be a class act! Xox

Joan Rivers was really loved here in the UK, and when she had bad times in America, she knew all she had to do was fly over to Britain and she would be loved. We loved her wicked sense of humour. The talk shows here adored her, from the great Graham Norton, to the family friendly Des O'Connor to the satirical wit of Clive Anderson, she was a regular on our talk shows. Johnny Carson did us a favour when he rejected and cold shouldered her in 1986, we gained, and that cold fish Carson lost.

This woman had a work ethic like no other. She suffered yet she never stopped. Bless you Joan.

And then Fallon let her on when he hosted the show… then she passed shortly after. The timing. 🙏🏻

If Rivers were still with us she would have so much material to work with.

I always thought this lady was ultra funny. Here she is, the epitome of pure class.

I miss Joanie so much...nobody like her! Rest in Peace, dear lady.

She was great & we in UK loved her, sadly missed. Queen of Comedy

Joan was so smart and talented. No won could match her. She went out on top.
-
What a class act Joan was. Even after how Carson cuts her out of his show and his life, she still thanked him for all he'd done and wishes him well. RIP Joan
-
What a powerhouse she was right up to the last... loved her.
-
I hope you found Peace, Miss Rivers. RIP

When you help someone you wish them success, Miss Rivers success should have been Mr Carson’s as well. It is sad that his ego was more important than their friendship. Joan Rivers was a class act!
-
Joan really was a genuine person I never knew all for this had happened to her
-
She persevered and showed them all in the end. Bravo Joan
-
Joan had a stellar career...From everything that was reported Carson was mad because Joan cut her own deal and finally got her own show...she worked for it she earned it and she had every right to it. I liked Carson but he was a real shit as a human being...he was a control freak plain and simple. Joan was funnier on her bad days than Carson was on his good days and he didn't like the competition. Joan was a class act and Carson was a spoiled petulant child. Joan you are missed so much.

This is the Joan Rivers I grew up with and remember most fondly. Hilarious and yet vulnerable.

Joan is beyond humble and thankful for johnny. No matter what, she gives him credit. She is class! Even when he wouldn’t talk to her, she still thanks him. Based.
