These guys revolutionized the sport! My “Christmas” was going to SX in Atlanta every year to watch the #4, #7, & #22 battle it out! Man, great times!
  • My favorite thing about this is that its such clean racing. Not one cheap shot by either of them.

Crazy to think RC was smoking everybody before Stewart was in the picture and RC had to get even faster to beat Stewart when he was in the picture. RC was whooping everyone and not even at his fastest yet Stewart elevated him to that level. RC the GOAT no question but Stewart a legend for changing the sport entirely and doing things no one else would even think about trying. This was the best time period in MX/SX I'm grateful to have been so indulged in the sport at that age.

I feel this season really helped James to come back the next year and dominate 2008 outdoors

It's to bad these guys had to get old. Nobody else was even in the picture. Miss them both.

NOBODY has ever been faster on a bike than Stewie...and nobody learned how to win a championship like RC. Much respect to both.

These two were going as fast as it was humanly possible to ride a motorcycle. Poetry in motion!

Equal talent, equal likeability. The only two champions who "I want him to win" applies to them both equally. They are the epitome of what champions are... I love them both!

Though he's possibly the DOG of T.V. analyst, RC is the GOAT of MX and it's not even close.

This doesn’t even feel like 14 years ago i remember this like it was yesterday Its just insane how much of in another league they were each race
  • @levisalvini4110
We never gonna see racing at this level in MX... Mark my words.

Best racing of my generation, hands down. I feel blessed to have been a fan and bear witness to the most gnar bar to bar during such an epic evolution and progression of this sport with some world class athletes
  • I was too young to watch these legends battle and revolutionize the sport. But as i watch older videos of these guys i really see how far this sport has come. This video gives me feels of when i used to race. Just nitty gritty racing and no resistance for the lead.
  • I like how you can actually hear the bikes instead of just hearing the commentary

Legendary motocross racing I’ll always love it

You can see the mental pain every interview with Stewart knowing he was doing everything he possibly could and it was still not enough. Simply crushed mentally. Charmicheal is not the greatest motocrosser of all time.....he's the greatest athlete of all time....it's a shame more people don't realize this.
