When I saw the title I thought the 4060 would be a clear winner, certainly 15% + on average, and they'd be a close-ish on price to performance, with the 4060 being an easier recommendation due to dlss. Kudos to the 6650xt for making this more competitive than I thought. Great video!
  • @JasonChen927
I think 6750XT would be more interesting against 4060 considering they are currently both around $270-300. And 6750XT would be the clear winner with better performance and more VRAM.😂

People in Turkiye are very lazy when it comes to researching which product is better. They directly buy whatever is said to be 'better' based on hearsay. As a result, Nvidia's market share in Turkiye is much higher than AMD's, leading to Nvidia being priced higher than it should be. This past May, I bought a 6650 XT, which was 40% cheaper than the RTX 4060, and I'm glad I did.
  • @PrimedTales
i mean, with 6700 / xt going for 30-60$ more, idk why would anyone get a 4060 lol
  • I've been helping some coworkers figure out what type of gaming rigs they want to build and it's becoming really difficult to recommend an Nvidia card at the entry-level of performance tier. With someone who is brand new to PC gaming, explaining things like VRAM can be difficult, but when you say, "well if you get an 8GB GPU, you're going to need more of it in the immediate future" it usually pushes them towards Radeon cards. I try to be as unbiased as I can and show them the TechPowerUp databases and their game performance articles but I have always recommended AMD cards for their budgets of $1,000 to $1,500. Searching the used market for good deals on Ampere cards has been frustrating.
  • At the end of the day which ever GPU you choose to get, the main thing is you get your desired GPU for a good price😇💪👍 I personally got the Gigabyte Low Profile RTX 4060 for $280USD (MSRP $330) and it’s fits beautifully in my PS2 sized HTPC setup and as shown can game at 1440p DLSS Quality with acceptable frame rates. I game on a 4K tv and play lighter fps titles or rpg titles so this GPU is perfect for my wants and needs 🙂‍↕🥳🤩🤤.
  • 6650xt but used 6700xt is best buy. 4060 is just low mid range gpu that should cost max 250€ (200-250€).
  • @moichamoy2274
You should consider using Rachet and Clank Rift Apart maxed out without RT I was able to get VRAM usage to 13GB I was surprised it could use that much.
  • @iamspencerx
I'm curious to see if resizable bar has any effect on the cards when their buffer overflows into Vram
  • @adink6486
For people still defending Nvidia low vram issues. I think these people should also use no more than 8gb rams because 8gb is enough for most games.
  • @abingeorge4984
My first card was the 1060 after that 60s have been utterly dissappointing.
  • @Arejen03
I bought myself used 3060 Ti for 200 euro i needed x16 pcie card and all the budget options besides arc are on x8
  • @skyisthela
i have the 6650xt but i have insane stutter and low usage issues
  • @iitzfizz
I briefly considered a 4060 when I wanted to upgrade from my 3050 Ti gaming laptop but after about an hour of looking and comparing GPU's I immediately ruled it out...Expensive and overpriced, underpowered, 8GB VRAM (wtf for a £300 card?!), I went with the 6750 XT instead...More or less the same price, way more powerful and 12GB VRAM. 6650 XT is great value too if you wanna spend less money than the 4060, 6650 XT is faster and is £100 cheaper.

These kind of videos have been the same for the past 10 years. They always tells us you pay a bit more for Nvidia and there is no real news value to this specific video. It's always the same, and gamers that care already knows this, obviously. For some reason we still choose to shop Nvidia products, and AMD need to figure out why and fix this. The rumors of faster RT in RDNA4, good. Nobody really wants FSR in it's current form and even Sony do their own thing, this tells us something, make a good upscaler with the focus on your own current products. Fix your shit like you did with Ryzen AMD, do it consistently for a couple of generations and the customers will come. Do it not, and the next 10 years will be as boring as the 10 years we had. Good luck!
