I've said it before under someone video about Deon, but I'll say it again. Deon actions so far are perfectly understandable. Even if his parents loved him, they do not express it in such a way. His father blatantly said in front of his face that he's weak with such an expression to a child. His mother stressed and worried, put her focus on Cruel the healthy one instead of Deon. Cruel, while caring for his brother so much rarely communicate nor express it. They're bad as being a parent and family all together. Especially when Deon father put his reputation and fame first instead of his own children.

Being put into a war at such a young age, forced to kill to survive, witnessing the horror of war. Who would be sane, honestly? He was a child craving for love, yet those around him either didn't know how to express it, using him, or trying to kill him. Let us be real here, if we're in his shoes. We will probably do the same thing, or maybe worse than him.
