You guys are so much fun to watch. HOWEVER, Riley; please use a push stick to finish push-through on the table saw - especially so when a second person is involved pulling long boards. All it would take is Courtney tripping over a stone in the lot and torqueing the board to send your fingers/thumb sideways into the blade. You'd be hurt and she would be forever feeling guilty.

Courtney, next time at the store, pick up a 2 inch PVC 90 and put on the exhaust port of the table saw and point it down, and avoid the sawdust storm :-D

What a treat to get to see Oliver out working. He is the Mr. Cool

Thank you for not using clickbait titles. I really enjoy your channel.

Good job. My advice is to not mount the heat pump on the exterior wall. All the vibration carries through. We did the same on our cabin and it always sounded like someone driving up on an ATV when it turned on. Subsequently, the dogs would start barking. Lol. We took it off the wall and mounted it on a stand. Very quiet now. Ours is a Fujitsu and has worked perfectly through all our weather here in north ID.

Happy Birthday & Mother’s Day! Have a Blessed Day!
  • You two are a beautiful couple. Your wife has so many hidden talents. She is willing to tackle any project with you. You definitely have a keeper. You two are truly blessed

glad to see you wearing PPE, so many youtubers use spray foam in a confined space with no PPE, just because it doesn't smell that bad doesn't mean it's safe, while curing it releases isocyanates which are dangerous chemicals, they're also in automotive clear coats, you need PPE to protect your respiratory system, eyes and skin which I'm glad to see that you did : )

Hello friends, I used to use polyurethane foam every day at work years ago. I worked in a boat factory. That mess is ALMOST impossible to get off skin.MEK works. One of the fellows at work built a home out of it. He poured a round pad, had rebar entirely around the circumference. One the concrete dried, he pulled the rebar into a dome. Covered with burlap& then sprayed it. Covered it with shotcrete. He built a double dome with a tunnel in the 70s 2 story, free form interior. He still lives there. I thought this might get Riley's evil genius working there I could take pix if you'd like.

Hi, Oliver is looking more and more like his dad, trouble x 2

Happy Birthday Courtney. Fantastic teamwork on what on paper sounded more effortless than it looked. It is impressive how far you can transform the container with what you are doing.
  • Happy Birthday, Courtney! 🎈🎉🎊🎆🎇 You both do a great job installing, videotaping and explaining. Gram is going to be so cozy. Oliver is so cute!! Good to get a glimpse of Bailey and Boone, too. Enjoy. Blessings. Don D

Wishing you a very happy Mother's Day Courtney! Seeing Oliver pop up in the video brought an extra smile to my face and I am happy for all of you. It's Perfectly Normal to experience fear or anxiety with a brand new project we've never experienced before. Proper planning helps minimize that fear or anxiety and replace it with confidence. As you said it's not the end of the world if you make a mistake with this particular project. Glad you picked the Golden Oak it's one of my favorites! Have fun, be well and abundantly blessed
  • I did my own spray foam on my detached garage and posted it to my channel. I 100% agree it was more difficult than I imagined!

Like the idea of having the services in the original container doors I’m planning to build a container house. Off grid. Next to a lake.
  • @TheStevedie
I used to work for an insulation company and they did a ton of spray foam. We would go through 3-6 55 gallon sets of spray foam a day. Those guys would do massive jobs and make it look easy. It sure isn't lol
  • @wallykramer7566
The Mr. Cool package says 18K on it. That strikes me as being way too big. It probably should be about half that. Maybe a little less if your insulation is really good! The result will be inadequate dehumidification during cooling times and inadequate air movement during heading times.
  • @MrSpock002
Think you guys nailed a VERY tough and MESSY job - especially for a first time!! Happy Birthday Courtney!!!

It's the little things that these videos deserve a second or third watch. Captured washers. Cool idea. Flower hair clip. Nice touch. Damaged electrical cord around your neck. Hilarious!
