Say wat you want about Cuban, but he is player first and respected in the league I'd say. Infectious energy.
  • Mark is the only sincere and most humble billionaire we have. He's truly a unicorn. He cares about his employees and people in general. Amazing fellow human.
  • @laknicks
I could listen to Mark all day long, can't wait for the biography. So many real and interesting stories from a real OG

Mark Cuban is the coolest. You can tell he's the type of owner that would smoke blunts with his players. Dallas Mavericks winning the 2011 NBA Finals was like winning two of them because it was against LeBron James, Dwyane Wade & Chris Bosh.
  • Cuban is a real one. A few years back a couple of my social media friends were posting pics with him. Turns out this cat was just hanging out in downtown Detroit by himself amongst the people. No entourage, no bodyguards, nothing.

Q and D and the producers of this show can you all reach out to Cheryl Miller to come on?
  • I thought he was gonna say the first person to bust his ass was the IRS
  • My first encounter with these guys, some well spoken brothers.
  • Mark is the best guest you can dream off. Can't stop listening. Best podcast ever.

These dudes always do a great job on these podcasts! Always great content. Q salute! D Miles you always ask good questions.
  • As a Heat fan I really do love hearing Cuban speak. He’s probably the most interesting owner to me. He also has always been a owner players love that played for him and players who never did. He’s been crazy at times, but overall I think he is well respected
  • The guy before this man was Ross Perot Jr, who admitted in earnest he knew nothing about basketball. Cuban took over and here we are. I will forever thank him for that. But, Q & D having him on the show, and he coming....what other team's owner has been on the show? I win.
  • 2011 I went for the heat. When they lost I went to court and practice the one legged dirk shot all summer. 🚀
  • I love the basketball talk, business talk and the pitch at the end!

One major aspect for business/selling that's overlooked is simply having the ability to be present and articulate in the moment. That's it. Most people spend that time going "uhm, and so like ..." or avoiding eye contact, feeling the awkwardness of talking to a complete stranger and asking them for money. If you're just there in the present moment, and are verbally fluid...that's a huge advantage.
