An excellent (first) Swiss Army Knife; Victorinox Recruit.

Publicado 2024-05-03
Salutations, Ladies and Gentlemen! Today, I'll be discussing another Victorinox Swiss Army Knife; the Recruit. This particular model is a superb piece, largely due to its smaller size and practical set of tools.

The Recruit features a set of 10 functions.

Polished stainless steel Spearpoint and pen blades.
Can opener + small flathead screwdriver.
Bottle opener + large flathead and wire stripper.
Toothpick.
Tweezers.
Keyring.

Made in Switzerland.

Overall, this piece is a fine example of the classic Swiss Army Knife. It's small, lightweight and immensely good for every day carry. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

👍 My EDC! Except, when I'm on tour in nature ... than I carry the Hiker with me.

You made some great points in this one👍I don't have a Recruit in my collection (yet 😆), but it's a cool piece that I wouldn't mind picking up. Thanks for the look at it, buddy!

When you see and feel the build quality of a Victorinox and how much knife you get for your money it certainly puts other knife makers to shame, with exception of Opinel they are great value for money. 😁

I can’t really get excited about Swiss Army knives, but I do carry one or two every day. I have a jet setter on my keyring and a pioneer X in my bag. I don’t remember when I last carried my briefcase, but it has a blue, climber in it. I’ve also given a few to various people, including my occupational therapist, that matched her uniform ( teal, not Red!). It was nice to see this one, as I’ve never had one. I think I do have a knife in this size, the bartender perhaps?

Great video! It's a great knife for sure! I somehow manage to find one with a serrated blade.
