It genuinely impresses me how you manage to fit Magnus into 98% of your thumbnails regardless of the video content. Fair play.
  • "You could be the 8 time champion of losing your queen" Levy causally slapping more than 69% of his audience in the face
  • @seansleee
From the perspective of a spectator, these moves look so simple to see when you understand them but from a blind position, Magnus being able to maneuver his pieces and shred open positions and be feared for that is truly astonishing. His level of mastery is truly on a different level.
  • Today's stare was 0.96 second long, we felt a surge of intense nervousness along with the gentleness of his eyes. 6/9

    This Magnus guy has potential
  • @thesecret6019
Magnus has got that uncanny ability to pull himself out of any losing position and somehow end up winning the game. He is slowly evolving into a chess engine. He is indeed the goat 🐐
  • I swear half of Magnus Carlsen's opening is something I would do. Only he's a brilliant genius who calculates 20 moves in advance, and I can barely think for 20 seconds.
  • The name "sodium attack" comes from the notation of Na3. Na is the chemical name for sodium and there are inorganic compounds that include Na3, such as sodium nitride - Na3N.

125 non-losses in anything is extremely difficult. remember that you're more likely to lose than not in just about everything, so it just goes to show exactly how consistent Magnus was to go over two years without losing

"You could be the 8 time champion of losing your queen" Well that hit wayy too close..

  • @Jbegu
The passion you have for chess is so evident in these videos. The storytelling is the differentiator compared to other chess channels. 🙏🏽
  • @ZachRice
Levy, your energy when giving these commentaries is so contagious and it makes your videos a joy to watch. You have inspired my chess growth since early in the pandemic. Congratulations on 3M subscribers and thank you so much for putting out such engaging Chess content.
  • The way Levy commentates over chess and makes it so incredibly gripping and entertaining. I'm grateful for it levy. You're an incredibly gifted entertainer and i have so much respect for the amount of effort you're putting in to entertain the masses on the way you see beauty in this game. Incredible passion, knowledge and add a charming personality to the mix - he's the perfect way to bring chess to the masses. The internet's chess teacher indeed. Thank you Levy Rozman a.k.a GothamChess. Congrats on 3M and many more Ms to come.

As a human that lives in a Salt Mine, I can confirm that we always play the Sodium Sicilian Attack when we are SALTY AF 🧂
