Manila was considered the "Pearl of the Orient" until World War Two. It was occupied by Japsnese forces and 90% destroyed by the end of February 1945 due to the "Battle of Manila". It was rebuilt, but lost it's former glory. Manila was the second or third most destroyed city of World War Two.

I’ve been to Manila probably 12 times and exactly like the video. One thing to note is that the KTV bars are worth a stop. Filipinos sure know how to sing!
