– VIDEO INTRODUCTION –

This playthrough shows:

• the final game with Jersey.

NOTE¹: I figure a playthrough where I win eighty (!) games in Pennant mode would be boring, so I use a password – [as seen at 00:47] – to start at the final game of the World Series with Jersey vs. New York. But let me know (in the comments section below) if you would like to see a game with (one of) the other teams!

By the way, I got the password from the Cheats subpage of Bases Loaded on GameFAQs. The page can be found at – [gamefaqs.gamespot.com/nes/587113-bases-loaded/chea…].

The timestamps for each inning can be found at the bottom of the video description box.

– GAME OVERVIEW –

Bases Loaded for the Nintendo Entertainment System is a baseball sports simulation video game. It was developed by Tose and published by Jaleco. The game was released in North America in July 1988.

This version has also been made available for several Nintendo Virtual Console (VC) services, namely:
- Wii – Region: North America – Release Date: April 7, 2008
- 3DS and Wii U – Region: North America – Release Date: July 10, 2014

• Bases Loaded was released in Japan as Moero!! Pro Yakyuu (燃えろ!!プロ野球, lit. Burn!! Pro Baseball) for the Nintendo Family Computer (FC), commonly known as the Famicom, on June 26, 1987.
◦ Moero!! Pro Yakyuu is the first of Jaleco's sports video games under the Moero!! (燃えろ!!, lit. Burn!!) brand. Three of the brand's baseball games have been localized for the Western market as part of the Bases Loaded series.
◦ A remake of Moero!! Pro Yakyuu – called Moero!! Pro Yakyuu 2016 (燃えろ!!プロ野球2016, lit. Burn!! Pro Baseball 2016) – was developed and published by Mebius. It was released in Japan on April 8, 2016, and November 11, 2016, for the Sony PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Nintendo 3DS, respectively.

• Kouji Murata – best known for his many works at Konami – is one of the sound designers for Bases Loaded.

• In the 1980s, few video games were licensed by the major North American professional sports leagues. As a result, the league represented in Bases Loaded is a fictional one of twelve teams.

• Bases Loaded features a television-style presentation of the batter vs. pitcher matchup previously seen in Accolade's HardBall! (1985).

There was a time I played this over and over, I loved this game so much...and then there was a time I played it for the last time. Bittersweet memories of a great childhood now so far in my past.
  • @beermanstan
This hits me in the feels so hard. I played this game nonstop as a child. The Paste/Bay 1-2 punch was a cheat code, and I loved it.
  • @Nebo888
I always loved the abbreviations for the umpires: YUK DUM BOO BUM 🤘🏽

this was an ultimate christmas present feeling when seeing this on the store shelf
  • The music is delayed between the next batter and hitting into the outfield has lived rent free in my head since i was a kid i played this game so much ❤
  • Had to stop and watch. Brings back a lot of memories...I always played with Philly. CAR had the unhittable pitch for almost 8 innings.
  • @AlexSt-1
We thank you for bringing another childhood game to life
  • @RadRedRooster
While the graphics and animations in Bases Loaded are good, the pace of each game is terribly slow, making the Pennant mode a slog to get through.
  • @Dingoplexor
That’s great Jersey was always my team too! Paste and Bay!! I’m from Jersey also lol
  • @rawhydemusic8620
I always used Jersey because of Paste and Bay. I used Rose as the pitcher all the time. I miss that game
  • @GoldenEraGamer
Loved this game so much. In my top 3 of all-time favorite baseball games! You could charge the mound lol.
