First day out, full trim session, on 4.7.21 at Wawayanda with the 1939 rubber-powered free-flight Scotch Monoped, designed by Scotty Majors, built by Tom Hallman. Built as a tribute to the late, great John Houck, whose Monoped was one of his favorite ships. Film shows flights from two days of flying, including a Rise Off Ground flight.     When I flew free flight rubber, I almost wanted the model to go OOS just because it belonged up there. A great feeling knowing I built it and trimmed it.

    On the rare occasions were I get to the "no changes" part of a trim session, I always think of you. Sometimes I even say it out loud, not too loud but, yeah. Nice everything.

    What a grand tribute! Good job you had the dethermalisor there Tom, or your old friend might have reached right out & grabbed this bird! I love the monoped uc.. Gives something really special to the inflight profile. 👍
