Plans for this build: www.buildsomething.com/plans/PE61CE8EB45765B55/Mob…

Hey everyone! Sorry its been so long! I have been wrapping up some larger projects and cranking through 2018.

In this episode, I am building my long awaited MOAT that is 36" wide x 36" tall x 84" long. This bench is inspired by Ron Paulk's benches along with Jay Bates and his approach to the base.

I would like to thank Kreg Tool for sponsoring this video and providing some awesome tools and products that I can implement into this bench. Having a full perimeter clamping area is going to be fantastic in the shop!

There will be plans up the www.BuildSomething.com website for this build. Please keep in mind that plywood and material thicknesses vary and there are some dimensions on this project that can be "off" due to that. The plywood I used was around 18mm thick this threw off a couple of things early on.

Please comment and ask questions below and I will be happy to answer wherever I can!

Thank you for all the support and stay tuned for some more upcoming videos!

Hey everyone! Thank you very much for all of the feedback and comments on this build! Since building it, I have put it through the paces in the shop and it is doing amazingly well! A lot of you have asked about my dust port on my cordless circular saw. It is a customized Ridgid Brushless circular saw that I cut the guard on and used epoxy to mount an old Shop Vac nozzle into. I am putting together content for a YouTube video explaining why and how I did it as well as how it is holding up. Thanks again and stay tuned for more! Casey
  • I bought this for my friend for his birthday as we just moved into a new house and he finally has room for a workshop. The bench was very easy to set up youtube.com/post/UgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWx… They center support is a little difficult to snap in and out of place at first but at least then we know the bench is secure. It was a pleasant surprise when we saw it came with clamps. I apparently missed that in the description. My friend loves the versatility of the bench. Great starter bench for his workshop and easily transportable all over our property. I wish the bench was a little taller but the other features of the bench more than make up for that.

Excellent how you point out issues as they arise.

Wow! definitely one of the nicest benches I've seen, well made, super sturdy and with a ton of really clever features.

Great bench, and its looks amazing too, cant wait to see more videos using this becnch, Thanks for sharing.
  • Skip the music the talking is way more exciting. Nice project. I made the drawer bottoms from a fine mash material and put a slide out piece of thin plywood on the bottom of the cabinet collecting all the dust what would be accumulate otherwise in the drawers. Thanks for sharing.

Same here....been racking my brain trying to come up with a good design. I love this table! Gonna do my best to reproduce it. Thanks for the great video!
  • Hello Casey, really love the mobile out feed table! Looks amazing! I found it on the Kreg Bulid Something... I am going to be building a bench soon and may have to nab a few of the ideas you shared! Thank you for the great building!!

Beautiful….great job. Built a large assembly/work bench a couple years ago. Invaluable piece.

Kreg bought a company car off this dudes workbench. It’s like a blue Mercedes in your garage and I’m beyond jealous😍

Casey, I've been searching for almost a year now for an assembly/out feed table to build. I'm glad I waited as I just found "The One" I'm going to build. Heading over to Build Something to get the plans now. I'm subscribed and thank you for your hard work!
  • Awesome 👏 I will try to do something like that, thank you for showing!!! Be safe and Best regards

Casey, awesome video! So professional too. I have to build one of these for myself for sure! Again, really really well done.
  • @philkidd
Really glad I discovered your channel! I know this one is from 4 years ago, but as with your recent sled build, this outfeed/work table is pretty much just the design I’ve been looking for. Most excellent!
  • @ZacJones
Nice work! This was satisfying to watch and super informative thank you!
  • @AustNRail
What I like about this video is you don’t waste time telling us what you’re about to do. Seeing it happen and explaining it as it goes along is a better use of my time than getting ticked off with endless explanation of what you’re about to see.
