Seeing Luke Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano meet and be on-screen together is a pure, warm sight

I’m glad he finally met his dads exotic teenage apprentice
  • If there was anyone in the Star Wars universe that can be called a Skywalker it’s Ahsoka not Rey tell me I’m wrong

Ahoska saying "Just like your father" hits me right in the feels. She knew Anakin very well and knows what he became and shes clearly proud of Luke for not making the mistakes her master did.

What I love is that Ashoka met Luke when he was the same age as Anakin when she first met him (early to mid 20s), and that she can sense Anakin’s youthful uncertainty passed onto his son. But she also seems confident that Luke’s experience with Vader will sway him away from the dark side of the force.

I like how you can tell that Luke is a nice guy, with a lot of compassion.. yet his voice sounds so emotionless like a perfect Jedi.
  • "So much like your father." That line moves me in variant ways. Such nuance.

The thing with Ahsoka, she not only knew Luke's father, she also knew his mother, Padme as well
  • If these two could have a 20 minute conversation about the past that would be great 😂

i really cried when she said “so much like your father”

Its crazy when you think about the fact that the baby is the oldest one in this scene
  • I very much hope we get more of this relationship, Luke hardly knew his father and nothing of the man he was (even if he became himself at the end). She is the only person in the universe that is still alive who really knew him on a highly personal level.
  • You gotta feel for my main man Luke here. He essentially has to single-handedly revive the broken pieces of the Jedi Order while avoiding what caused them to fail in the first place while also struggling with his own development from student and warrior into master and teacher. Dude has an impossible task and I couldn’t fault him for failing if it wasn’t written so poorly in the sequels

Luke: “what more can you tell me about my father” Ahsoka: Anakin’s ghost: (elsewhere in the force) “oh no”

Ahsoka telling Luke "Trust your Instincts" just hits differently now that we know Anakin would say the same thing to Ahsoka... brb need to go cry
  • Just gonna say Luke looks amazing here. They did a great job making him look like his younger self.

This meeting along with Ashoka being reunited with R2 is a long time coming
