I feel like it’s so easy to get caught up in the feeling of being trapped when everything is going wrong and thinking nothing will ever change. A small shift in your mind or a change of space like moving back to your hometown where you can be vulnerable with the people that actually care about you. 3:38 Tyler Edwards - What Happens Next? This song is about facing uncertainty and finding peace in letting go. All important things seem to require a willingness to release and love the outcome no matter what the end might be. Many of us desire control but there is beauty in surrender. 7:05 Hazlett - Mama's Boy There’s something disarming about a nice person, you build them up in your head that they can do no wrong and the minute they do it stones you. We don’t bat an eye at the scumbags and lowlifes when they cross us, we almost expect it from them. At its peak, I could barely leave my house. I was so anxious, and I had this epiphany that I really needed to work on it. The chorus is, ‘I’d rather be alone than together now,’ but for me, it’s not a negative thing. I need to be alone so I can have these reflections. 14:44 Fran Lusty - Brother Brother is an ode to childhood and the strong bond one has to a younger sibling. The need to protect, and to help them navigate the hardships of life. 18:29 Tommy Ashby - Not That Far To Go (Binaural Acoustic Version) I guess the message of the song is to take stock of all of the good things, focus on the present and accept that a lot of the stuff that happens to you is beyond your control. 🐨 Many of the artists we're working with are based in (or originally come from) Australia.
