  • As an owner of a V6 mustang, i will not buy a muscle car without a V8 ever again. To some a v6 muscle car may be exactly what they want, but to me, there are just more fun sports cars out there with 4 cylinders or v6 motors. I truly believe these muscle cars were just meant to have the v8. For the sound and feel of it alone. The v8 just feels like freedom to me

When you revealed the R/T's sticker price, all I could hear is Stanley from The Office: "Boy, are you out of your mind?!"

I had the v6, upgraded to the rt, but soon realized I was over my head with insurance, registration fees and the price of gas. Everyone feels the economy but North of the border we're paying close 8$ a gallon. Absolutely ridiculous. I had to trade in the rt for my gt. Ain't nothing like a hemi, but ya gotta do what you gotta do. Always great content Paul.
  • I bought a v6 years ago. I wasnt anything close to a car guy i just wanted a cool looking car at the time. 7 years later and im a total gear head and drive a pcp scat shaker. It all started with the v6. Theyre great cars and dont deserve any of the shade they get from car guys.

Trust me, ALWAYS get the v8 so you won't be disappointed down the road. I've tried owning v6 and 4 cylinder turbo cars in the past and modified them and they still weren't as fast as most v8 cars. Just spend the extra money so you can be truly happy.

I supercharged my V6 Challenger and it was an amazing experience. I currently own a scatpack.
  • 63K is the Same price I paid for my 2019 Scat Pack widebody with the lifetime warranty! Love my scar pack & I will have it forever!

I love when people mod lower tier cars. I'm a fan of the underdog.
  • R/T all the way. Would not even consider the V6. Not even if it was supercharged. Great video, Racer X!
  • @AutoAuctionUSA
This is exactly what I was wondering! Thanks for the detailed breakdown of the V6 vs. RT with a supercharger. Leans me way more towards the V6 with a supercharger for the price difference alone. That ProCharger kit sounds amazing

Great video X, definitely a nice comparison for those interested in getting into the Mopar muscle car world . I think driving a Challenger has a fun feeling no matter what but more power the more smiles per gallon .
  • I purchased the GT because of the AWD option. Where I live it's more practical then just the RWD. I will be adding a super charger in the near future but don't think you have to, the V6 is not bad and at 80 mph its only at 2k rpm
  • @jtc1964x
The entire point of the Challenger/Charger/300 (LX) IS the V8. I don't care how fast you make the V6, it won't touch the feel of the V8. If I wanted a blown 6, I would go BMW all day long over any blown Chrysler V6. But I appreciate the content because many others won't feel the same way. Great work Racer X - you are the best

I had an rt thing was a beast with just an intake headers and a tune a supercharger would make the rt pretty crazy i was going to do that but then i found my dream spec hellcat for 60k last October there was no passing that up. Great video man.

I personally went with the GT bc I don’t race so I don’t care about a ton of HP and I deal with Canadian winters😂but I’m also a huge fan of the Challenger style and history so it was the perfect option for me. More than enough power and efficiency to cruise around in every day and still have that muscle car styling.
  • @erictaylor1320
Great video RacerX! With the potential the 5.7 has to make more power I still think the R/T is the way to go.
  • @wailingalen
Great video! You got a new sub and like. I don't have a dodge but I do have the Pentastar in my Jeep and am researching for possible forced induction in the future.
  • @zacchwith2Cs
I’ve never been this early on a video🔥.. gotta stick with my last call R/T though
  • I have to tell you there’s a lot of good deals on those right now! I wish I could buy one. I just have no interest.. Hellcat or no go baby! Although I’m starting to see dealers discount, the remaining hellcats big-time! Cool upload brother🤘 Hope all is going well
