Today we are talking about how to make a killer After Effects intro for your videos!
Building a new intro is one of my ABSOLUTE favourite things about kicking off a new year. I’ve received a lot of comments on my new intros throughout the years and also a lot of questions from you on how to build a good intro. So today I thought it was about time I cook up a little video about it. In this After Effects tutorial I show you how to build a spicy YouTube intro for yourself using Adobe After Effects. I walk you through an example from start to finish so that you can follow along and then take these techniques and maybe apply some of them to footage that is relevant to you and your channel. I also talk about what ingredients I think make for a good YouTube video intro and give you some things to think about and consider when you are making yours. Simply the best. As always Peter. I have to say that I am using DaVinci Resolve and almost all of those effects are available in this software so this tutorial was helpful even for me :)

Love the tutorial! Just a small tip so you don’t have 200+ layers, pre-compose sections/effects if you can. Saves space and protects the work you already did 👍🏻

I love these 2 Minute Tuesdays that are definitely a lot longer, but they're definitely worth more than 2 minutes, even if it wasn't a 2 minute Tuesday, and just a normal tutorial. PM never, NEVER Fails to keep us entertained and learning new things all at the same time!

Super cool tutorial! Just want to point out for anyone already using Premiere, you can do all of this within PrPro and some of the things are actually easier than Ae’s method and also not as sluggish (processor heavy). Just nest your clips as you go and you won’t be left with so many stacks 🤙 Definitely some great ideas in this tutorial that’s got my brain fired up! 🔥🧠⚡️🤘
