This is why kirby, even with its simplistic design, is the hardest character to develop in smash bros.

I definitely love Brawl’s addition of the mugshot because it’s a lot easier to tell what mode you’re playing. In Melee you can’t tell if you’re playing a time match or if both players were on one stock. In Brawl, you now have the “gradient ellipses of vitality” (name I made up 2 seconds ago) to represent stocks. Now you can tell you were playing a 1 stock match like a fucking psychopath.

Both robin and Kazuya also have UI related changes, Robin displays the charges left, and Kazuya turns his nametag red ( and starts pulsating your controller)

4:57 Alax knows how to write running jokes and references PERFECTLY. Literally took until my second viewing to realize this is a reference to his 2018 E3 video, but just saying it wasn’t enough. He added ANOTHER joke on top of it to make it fresh. Now that’s comedy writing.

It still boggles me that they bothered to add a gauge on R.O.B.'s chassis to show how much fuel he has left for his Up B, but not also have it be visible on his damage meter.
