Former President Trump will formally accept his party's nomination for president on the fourth and final night of the Republican National Convention. Mr. Trump says his speech will be "more unifying" after he was wounded by an assassin's bullet in Butler, PA five days ago.
As pressure grows from Democratic leaders for President Biden to end his campaign for re-election, the country finds itself at a remarkable split-screen moment with a president facing turmoil over his future while Republicans have largely united around former President Trump.
