Faces - I know I'm losing you, live England, first broadcast on April 1st 1972, this version is taken from a 2002 rebroadcast which I recorded from Digital cable TV receiver, scart connected into a Panasonic DVD recorder. Faces are an English rock band formed in 1969 by members of Small Faces after lead singer and guitarist Steve Marriott left to form Humble Pie. The remaining Small Faces—Ian McLagan (keyboards), Ronnie Lane (electric bass, vocals), and Kenney Jones (drums and percussion)—were joined by guitarist Ronnie Wood and singer Rod Stewart, both from the Jeff Beck Group, and the new line-up was renamed Faces.

  • The young people today have no clue what real music is. Now this is real music 🎵🎶🎸🎤🎼
  • I've said it before, but Rod Stewart was never better than he was with The Faces

It’s mind blowing how many great bands rocked this era. Rod did his best work with the Faces.

Kenny Jones. One of the most underrated drummers in rock history.

Drum solos were all the rage back in the early 70's ..Kenney Jones delivers a good'n here!

You can see why people talk about the 'good old days' of the 60s & 70s !

I'm 56 and I grew up listening to Rod Stewart, the Stones, Zeppelin, Three Dog Night, David Bowie, CCR etc. because my parents had all of those albums. Now, I own those albums and the crap that is rap and other junk that is popular amongst the youth has no heart and no soul.

Small drum kit, small combo amps, small stage, small PA, small crowd....HUGE talent.
  • “Every Picture Tells a Story” is one of the best, most exuberant, unpretentious rock’n’roll albums ever. And this is one if the best tracks. Live! Great stuff.

This is music people. I feel so privileged to have grown up listening to the legends. I just always thought we'd keep hearing pure rock until we fell into our graves. Little did I know what crap would be coming down the road. Thanks for posting this ❤️

This is the pinnacle of live music. Nothing to learn here when you have raw talent

Rod was so lucky to have belonged to the band. He never quite matched this on his own.

A lot of Rod Stewart sins absolved with this one!
