A little over 18 months ago, we interviewed author and columnist Douglas Murray about his then new book The Madness of Crowds: Gender, Race and Identity. That show was one of our most-watched interviews of 2019, so we thought it was time to sit down with Douglas again and get an update on where things stand with regard to, as Douglas describes in his book, “the interpretation of the world through the lens of ‘social justice,’ ‘identity group politics’ and ‘intersectionalism’ . . . the most audacious and comprehensive effort since the end of the Cold War at creating a new ideology.” We also discuss European politics, examine Boris Johnson’s tenure as UK prime minister, and take a sobering look at American politics from the perspective of a very sharp observer.

  • Just when I feel alone, stupid and almost desperate, I find a conversation like this. Thank God.

It's truly refreshing to listen to sane men speak sense.

I feel helpless to the fact that my daughters have been taught to believe this ludicrous 'social justice' is the way to be a moral person. I am grateful to watch this video as I am realizing I was not the one that is going crazy.

This needs to be openly discussed on today's college campuses.
  • I’ve never seen Douglas so angry as of late. He’s gone from 100% passion to 110% !!

Peter Robinson is the best interviewer around. There is no one better at teasing out and promoting rich discussion such as this. Thank you Peter and please continue your work 👍

God, I love the honesty. I love the bluntness. I've always agreed with this- it's not about equality- it's about revenge.

I’m seventy years old, so I won’t be around when the book is written about the gay guy who saved western civilization. But I did hear him make the case.

Douglas Murray is a shining light of measured reason. Refreshing.

The idiotic thing about this revenge is that these individuals never suffered the things they are seeking revenge for. So who are they seeking revenge for - because it wasn't them that suffered. It's an imaginary feeling that they are sating because they have no right to seek retribution often on the behalf of people that are no longer alive and didn't bequeath their feelings as a legacy.

If you watch a MMA fight with a "transitioned" female, you'll realize just how hard it is to watch. There's no achievement there, it's just a horror show for whoever the natural female in the ring is. Just a man beating the shit out of a woman.

Both a privilege and an honour to be able to sit in on your educated intelligent discussion. Thank you!!

The Hoover Institution is doing an incredible job with these interviews. This guy asks the best possible questions which lead to the most interesting interviews.
  • As an indian. I feel sorry and pitty about Europe... I feel Europe has lost the will to fight...

I've been on a Douglas Murray binge all November, now December. This interview did not disappoint, but at this point I'd watch him read the dictionary 😊
