The characters dying every second is part of the jjk experience
  • @MobyDrip
My biggest problem is the disappearance of my GOAT Todo. We need him back 😢

The problem with JJK is that it feals like the characters are action figures for the plot rather than living breathing people. Like yuta and Maki havent even had a single conversation to talk about what happened to her and Mai
  • Characters ain’t pushin the story forward anymore, they all be fried by sukuna
  • This is why I still hold onto the belief that shibuya as a plot premise happened way too early in the story
  • @blank5768
Geto's body attacking Kenjaku never being followed up on still makes me mad

Slice of life moments give time for us to reset. Constant action gets tiring if it goes on for too long.

It’s the fact that gege seems to be tossing away the story threads he once seemed to be carefully weaving. Kenjaku and the merger and why he took backshots? He’s dead. Never hearing from him again. Gojo, the strongest sorcerer of the time by a long shot? Off screened and we didn’t see ANYTJING come of it. It seems like gege got bored after shibuya and has just been fucking with us and having fun trying to get people to stop reading.

My problem with jjk is its current situation where it is just killing people for no reason. >Introduce a character with a cliffhanger >flashback glazing >make him land some hits on sukuna >sukuna glazes him(this is the 10th sorcerer he has faced in a row who has the potential to rival gojo) >lands some more attacks >flashback glazing intensifies >strong offscreen >rinse & repeat Its become so worse to the point that they had to bring back Miguel just because they ran out of characters to fight sukuna💀

I agree with you completely honestly having more time with the characters and getting them more fleshed out would make the theme of death in jjk hit much harder in my opinion. A lot times when a character dies the story just moves on which makes the deaths feel almost pointless.

So many characters die have died in such a fast pace, death lost its value. At least for me, now it’s just “he died already?” instead of “there is no way he died!”

“Just because i like something, doesn’t mean i can’t see its flaws” Ah, i wish this was everyone 💀

So true Mate, I really liked JJK Season 1 cause ot had a lot more Slice of Life moments which really showed what the world looked outside the Jujutsu Society.
  • We should have taken a small break after gojo got freed. A small training arc, with some updates on todo and character interaction between kashimo, higuruma and the rest of the cast
  • @tausifahmed118
Todo being still alive but not seen since Shibuya is a flaw
  • Me remembering that Todo didn't die: 😃 Me remembering the boogie woogie is : 😔
  • I miss the jujutsu stroll stuff. Its minor, but it adds so much. Like how the Megumi and Nobura quietly missed Itadori when Megumi made his meatballs and how Itadori missed them too but had to keep hiding since everyone thought he died, or the one about who stole Nobura's skirt. This criticism about its function is why jjk moments generally doesn’t hit for me like other series. It works for characters like Itadori and Nanami, who are easy to understand (Yuji starts as a simple and nice guy, but he has to deal with a complex and insane world, Nanami is a worn guy who left, but returned and decided to keep going because he prefers doing good over being safe and wealthy), but for characters like Gojo and Geto, I need an analysis video to really feel it (i.e. I understood what was going on, but it didn't hit for me as it did others)

I feel like we deserved more back stories on certain characters
  • @TheSussyBussy
I hate the lack of flashbacks, character interactions and quiet moments to digest the previous battles, now the battles arent even progressing the story anymore, Sukuna is just expanding everyone's domain

My biggest problem with jjk is how many deaths there are. If Gege killed off characters in a way to make their deaths impactful it would be different but as it is right now I have a hard time getting attached to a character because I know they will most likely end up dead. A good death for jjk was Junpei because I felt that death as I grew attached to him as a character.
