This song was used in my brother's memorial after he committed suicide. he'd be 34 today. Happy Birthday Jer, I'm sorry I couldn't save you. EDIT: To everyone that has responded, I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart. I didn't expect this to blow up like it did, I just wrote it when i was in a dark place. I'm doing a lot better now, it still hurts but not as much as it did. Thank you for your kind words they really mean a lot and they have helped. In 2017 I found my daughter's dad was SAing her. She was 5. Now in 2024, she's on her 7th inpatient treatment program because of what her dad did and this video is a weird source of comfort for me.

This is one of the songs that makes me really appreciate bands like Three Days Grace. They centered on a dark topic that not many would touch on and gave victims out there a song to feel comforted by.

This song has a powerful message and it took me 10 years to figure it out: it's about this schizophrenic girl who was molested by her father and is on permanent bed rest because of the horrors she has encountered as a child and she often had thoughts of suicide hence in the song they say "still I hear you say you want to end your life" the birdman who is represented in this is her "guardian angel" in her mind but in reality it's either a cop or an actual guardian angel or even the devil punishing her father

This song saved my life more times than I can count. During the darkest years of my life. Without a doubt I can say I owe my life to 3 days Grace.

this song literally prevented me from unaliving myself more times than I'd like to admit during high school. Life was thrash back then, I was bullied, assaulted, my parents were assholes and I'd love to say life got better but no, I am not even a functional adult, my mental health don't let me keep a job and I can't afford therapy anymore and I am just in a limbo where I don't even know what to do, or why am I even alive, like what for? Anything makes sense anymore and three days grace has been my safe place... I stop listening to them for ages, but I came across this song today and it took me back tho high school days and I am clinging to this song with all my heart as I did before. As in high-school, 3DG and my service Dog are the only ones keeping me alive rn and I don't even know if it's gonna get better
