A storm dumped inches of rain on the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday, flooding streets, closing schools and disrupting travel at Dubai International Airport. Videos captured Tuesday and Wednesday show the flooding in Dubai caused by the historic rainfall.

    So while Dubai was building skyscrapers, they didn't put any infrastructure in for rainwater. Same with Saudi Arabia, Oman and other gulf countries.
