That’s why I like this Hulk better. The movements and the fights felt raw and organic. You’ll literally can feel the Hulk’s rage boiling out of his eyes too
  • Kinda crazy that Banner’s father says “take it back” and “it’s not stopping”. Just truly shows that Hulk literally had unlimited power, and The Absorbing Man can’t handle it.
  • You know, there is something clever in the man with infinite power wanting nothing more than to give it up, and the man who wants nothing but power being completely unable to handle it.
  • When Bruce starts screaming as his father is being electrocuted- I actually started tearing up. You can hear the gut wrenching pain in his voice: not knowing his mom, being robbed of a loving childhood, the anger he has for his father for becoming Absorbing Man and wanting to steal his power. Sometimes I also think he thought his Dad was going to die- the pain of knowing his Dad is evil but not wanting to lose him because he is the only parent he has left. Ang lee really captures the essence of Bruce Banners pain from the comic in this movie. I was 11 in 2003 when this movie came out. I still love it. 💜✨ The camera angles, Danny Elfman’s music score (the fight scene in the clouds) capturing the Hulks power/rage in this movie...It’s iconic and was ahead of its time!

The fighting in the sky scene was one of the best. Not a lot of action that can be seen but you can tell they went at it

Let's be honest, if this film came out today EXACTLY AS IT DID IN 2003 people would love it.

The fighting in the clouds along with the music is so badass

Severely underrated movie. We'll probably never get another art house Hulk movie ever again.

Imagine the strength required to tear a huge segment of rock off of it's base with like no friction or leverage; that's insane
  • 0:03 0:10 You can feel the anger and rage building up inside Bruce Banner something that Mark Ruffalo’s hulk was missing

I think Absorbing Man was drastically changed from his original depiction in this movie, but overall still a great character. But I wish they made more footage of him using his powers

That lightning scene was sooo good!!! Man, i’ve never seen a much more realistic take of lightning’s nature, more so from a 2003 film!

3:38 hands down still one of the most if not the most powerful moment in marvel's cinematic franchise second being tony stark's sacrifice and death

I always liked how this movie looks like a comic book
