Finally Sharing What I've Been Hesitant To Tell You

Published 2024-02-08
I have been worried that if I told you this, people would be too critical and judgy even after they have heard the story but I realize that it is just a part of my story and there is nothing I can do to change it so might as well share.

YOU SURVIVED CANCER.DO NOT BE concerned what other people think! You’re a beautiful woman and you do not owe anybody an explanation❤
  • @lorettas4443
Hey, kiddo, you have nothing to apologize for. you're a cancer survivor! count your blessings. and if some numbskull has the gall to criticize you for getting filler, well, the phewy to her. This is a case of "don't judge me until you've walked a mile in my shoes." you're a beautiful woman. be healthy! ❤
  • @ascolilloac
Don’t blame yourself for your cancer. We didn’t have sunscreen back then! We were encouraged to “get some sun”. Here’s to your continued good health, God bless.
  • @lorypeercy3977
We all laid in the sun with baby oil for hours. The important thing is you're cancer free. You have a valid reason for the filler. Thank you for sharing ❤
  • I had a basal cell carcinoma on my nose 6 years ago at age 64. I was sent to a plastic surgeon. He told me there was no place to "hide" a scar, so I would have one. I feel self-conscious about the scar, but most people don't even notice it. I am thankful that the surgeon got all the cancer, which was most important.
  • It is no one's business and speculating is wrong, especially openly! I'm sorry if people have been nosy and cruel. You're right! Everyone has a story, and it shouldn't be pressured to revealed. People take too many liberties on social media and many keyboard warriors hide behind those keyboards. You ARE beautiful inside and out! God Bless!!!🙏🙌

when i was young baby oil and iodine was my drug of choice for tanning. I am in my 60s now last october i was diagonosed with stage 2 cancer on my leg they cut it out and left me a 6 inch scar then they treated me for a month with Chemo cream I go back at end of month for final check. Hopefully everythings gone. Now I don't leave my house without sunblock and covering and a hat. I wish I could tell these young people laying on the beach my experience but young people don't think anything bad will happen to them. Sorry this is sooo long but hopefully someone will read my testomonie and listen to you and wake up. I luv your videos and you are beautiful

Angela you don’t owe anyone (especially on social media) an explanation for anything you do/don’t do or have done/not done! 😊
  • Even without your history of cancer …everyone has the right to do what he or she wants ! I can’t use filler because of my health issues ..but do what you want to do ..no judgement

Hi, Angela, i am 83 and have suffered for the past 50 years or so with many different types of skin cancer, including basal cell - I figure we are survivors and we should be proud that we are survivors and hold out our hands to other souls. Congratulations on being a survivor. P.s. I have a melanoma scar on my leg that when people asked about it, I would answer “shark bite”. - a definite conversation stopper!

Nothing to apologize for. To each their own. I understand the reason you got fillers and I applaud you! You’ve dealt with a lot. If you wouldn’t have told us your story, I would have never guessed it. You go girl! Love your channel.
  • Angela. This video hits home. I am a 67 year old grandma recovering from my 2nd MOHS procedure, but this one was on my nose. I had 11 stitches and 2 long incisions. From a pinhead spot! I had bruising, too. Young gals, WEAR YOUR SUN SCREEN. We didn’t even know about it back then.
  • @jnelsimpson1190
Its not anything to worry about Angela! I'm a nurse and I know how much they take when they remove a cancer. Its to have a clean border free that's cancer free. What an ordeal you and your husband have been through! Its only natural to want your face to look more normal after that! If anyone says anything negative ignore!
  • I can't imagine someone being critical of you after what you had to go through! I'm glad they caught it in time and happy you were able to get your face back to normal. Thank you for sharing! It may save someone's life!❤
  • @janetstraw191
Absolutely NO reason to explain yourself or apologize for anything!! You look great and you did what was right for you!! 👏👏👍🙋‍♀️🥰‼️
  • @pennyweldon8587
No judgement from all of us who have made unwise decisions in the past about not putting on any sunscreen because we did not know any better. Kudos to you for taking care of yourself‼️Stay beautiful however you choose!!! We adore you inside & out❤️
  • @donnabuckner2689
You shouldn't have to justify your choices. If it makes you feel better, why not? It's not hurting anyone!
  • @Melissa55
I sure hope no one is critical of you getting fillers. Even if you had never had the skin cancer you have to right to get whatever you want done and you look just beautiful.  I just think it's so wonderful that we have options to have done what we choose to and be able to feel good about ourselves. You just keep on shining! Best of luck and good health to you.

Years ago my Mom had 1/3 of her lower eyelid removed due to basal cell cancer. She had an excellent surgeon, but it took quite awhile for the black & blue & swelling to resolve. Mom was shocked at how much had to be removed, and how battle-worn she looked for weeks afterward. But in the end it looked fine, normal. Whatever you need to do for yourself, you go Girl!

Angela, Thank you so much for sharing your story! I'm a bit older than you (66) & I was part of the generation that baked their skin at basically every opportunity... at the pool, in the back yard... then I also was part of the tanning bed movement. I know, crazy... Anyway, I've had to have some skin cancer appear in a number of places & have been having them treated. I had a large place on my upper back & the healing process was painful I haven't had any on my face that required any surgery, but I get checked 2 times a year, just to be safe. Anyway, thank you again for sharing your story with us. You are brave & beautiful...inside & out! Be blessed!
